not this year because of the risk of labour but i will light some candles tonight and remember my ancestors. usually there is a big event on and i go along to it we have a big bonfire and a feast, plant seeds and then get verry drunk. there is a bit more to it but its basicly bringing in the spring, placing flowers in the house, eating lots etc

Well I think we can all relate to the eating lots...can't we happydays?! :D:D:D

The big event sounds very exciting but I'm sure your way of marking it tonight will be just as special.

Good morning to everyone, I hope we are all well.
I'm waiting for the Red Cross to deliver my online shopping to see what goodies we have in it thus week.
Hi to sexymouse. Congratulations and welcome to the madhouse.
I hope Sammie is getting on ok and that Dinah went to be checked.
Is your scan this afternoon lovecrafting?
Me and my pile are doing quite well this morning. Managed to be awake half the night with heartburn again though. It really is !!!!ing me right off now. I'm walking around swigging a bottle of Gaviscon like the local drunk. If I take to park benches and put it in a brown paper bag I'll start too worry!

to be honest your not actually suposed to practice during pregnancy so for months its just been each celebration lighting candles and doing as much as possible wilst not actually practicing. when isla is born i will be able to get back into the swing of things. starting with her first right of passage wich is basicly introducing her to the world (take her to the river at pendle hill, dip her toes in and introduce her to life) i know it sounds a bit mad but it does make sence.

Yes the 12 wk scan was lovely - Moon's reaction was great (I had an early scan at 6 weeks cos I'd had spotting and cramping, but Moon had been on a course so my Mum had come) - he said, "There's a little dude in there!" when he saw it come up on the screen. Baby was putting on quite a show - looked like it was doing bunny hops and all sorts, and Moon kept on waving at the computer screen at it. lol I did tell him that the baby couldn't see him, but he said it was the thought that counts. He didn't stop smiling for the rest of the day. There's still a part of me that doesn't feel like it's real still, as it's a bit early to feel any movement at the moment. I suppose when I feel that, it'll seem more real. Was lovely to have actual photos of Bean to look at and show people, and nice to have it all out in the open so I don't have to worry about finding clothes to camoflage bump that is starting to show. Just need to get some good maternity trousers now, as I only own 2 pairs of trousers that I can still get on comfortably. Anyone have any recommendations? I'll need smart work trousers and some casual trousers to wear when I'm not working.

Bought some bras last week after a fitting as mine were all far too unfcomfortable, and one of them is already uncomfortable under my boobs. I think I'm going to have to take the others back as I've deliberately not worn them just in case this happened. They were M&S non-wired cotton t-shirt bras.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I too am fascinated, but the thought of going to pendle hill scares the bejesus out of me - DH makes me watch that stupid Yvette Fielding thing, and Pendle Hill has all them scarey ladies chucking stuff about and being mean!!! Shudder!

The idea of spring being hereis brill, I can get in my garden, when I am not whale like and I have all my windows open today!

Just about to start colouring 2.5kg of icing in purple!! With no gloves - so messy, messy hands time!!!! x

Sorry to hear you're suffering dizzi, I have very mild SPD but it kicked off worse after trying to clean the skirting boards last week, I was yelping around on all fours by the end!

Triangle, just saw you have a westie, I love terriers, we have a wee lakeland terrier, he's been resting his head on my tummy lately, sure he has a feeling for what's going on in there!
