  • Hi Everyone, just dropping in to say hello - I've been trying to read through but this thread moves so quickly I'll never catch up! Totally knackered at the moment but want to send labour vibes to all the boldies and anyone else that wants them. :)

I seem to be constantly moving down the list rather than up it - 3rd trimestre offficially started today so there's light at the end of the tunnel at least!!

Hello ladies hope you are all doing well :D

Hope you dont mind me dropping by but this seemed like the most sensible place for my post. I recently bought a cot for my daughter as she had outgrown her crib and there was no way that I was even going to try to dismantle her cotbed and move it into my bedroom...and I wasnt that sure it would fit comfortably anyway! :rotfl:

I bought an Anna cot from John Lewis which is absolutely fabulous, as it is a solid heavy weight thing and it looks absolutely beautiful too. I am posting here as for the £100.00 it costs it is in my opinion an absolute bargain. For those shopping for baby beds it is well worth at least a look :)

I dont understand washables and every tells me they are hard work. I have no clue if that's right but I'm anything for an easy life.

I've just started using mine, and they're pretty easy really. I bought pocket ones, once used I separate the inner bit from the nappy and drop both bits in a dry bucket. When bucket is full chuck them all in the washer, cold rinse then wash at 30 with a tiny bit of persil and a scoop of miofresh. Nappies go on the airer, inner bits are finished off on the radiator or in the dryer. I'm fairly lazy, so if I can do it... :D

    Morning all...
Looks like baby's moved around a bit in the night since I've now got two feet booting away at my rib cage - had a really quiet day movementwise that got me very worried (sod's law at about 10pm at night I started fretting as well) - but boy oh boy's she made up for it this morning!

Poor dog - I was lying in bed watching my stomach do the whole alien wiggle thing - he sticks his head on my belly to work on his adoring eyes looking up at me manouver that gets around me every time... bam - he gets a kick to the face from the bump objecting to being used as a pillow... poor guy's face was a picture (doesn't take much to confuse him)!

Aww how sweet dizzi! I really want a pet but DH won't let me, although I guess now isn't the best time to be getting one!

I've just had a galaxy bubble egg with my morning cup of tea! I would feel ashamed but it tasted so good and technically I'm on holiday so it doesn't count :o

Off down to Plymouth this morning, but I've got my iPad with me so I'll still be reading while I'm away ;)

Labour vibes to all who want them.

    xx

    Galaxy bubble. Yum yum.
Wow Emsbet, Plymouth is a long way from our neck of the woods. I was down there last year and I never realised how far it was. Have a good time.
Aimless - thanks for the tips about the reusables.
Hope Icey got on ok yesterday. Can't wait to have some baby news.
