    Galaxy bubble. Yum yum.
Wow Emsbet, Plymouth is a long way from our neck of the woods. I was down there last year and I never realised how far it was. Have a good time.
Aimless - thanks for the tips about the reusables.
Hope Icey got on ok yesterday. Can't wait to have some baby news.
    xxxx

It is a far way but luckily we knocked 1hr 45 off the journey by coming down to Shrewsbury yesterday. Still 4hrs 15 to go and DH is planning on just one stop! :rotfl: I don't see that happening with my bladder! ;)

Nope :o I decided I was being silly. I didn't drink much yesterday because I was at home and forgot and I didn't need to wee as much so I think it's just down to my increase in fluid intake. Not worried about it now. Will keep an eye out though. Thanks for looking after me :)

Just popping in to see if there was any news from anyone but alas no...

Looks like it was quiet on here yesterday, everyone must be relaxing and taking a day off from mse.

Got my routine midwife appt today (36+1), forgot to do pee in a pot first thing, hopefully i will be able to drain a little bit out before i go :D

Dizzi, thats what happened to me a couple of weeks ago, very limited movement for about a day, got worried and went to antenatal unit, baby was fine but thats when i started getting jabs/kicks in the ribs ever since, and now i'm convinced she had just changed position. Hopefully the midwife will be able to tell me what position she is in today!!

Have a good trip Emsbet, i miss the south!!

Well, had all my blood tests taken yesterday for glucose intolerance and my regular 28 weeks blood test. I wasn't up there for as long as I thought, but i took a book to read inbetween!

Can't believe I've only got 4 weeks at work! It's gone so quick and can't wait! Also received a letter from the HR department with a stupid form asking me to confirm what date I want to leave on (bearing in mind I've already sent them a letter) and I guess their maternity policy (hello! bit late for that!) telling me my right to paid time off work for anetnatel appointments lol! Oh well, I guess some companies aren't as clued up on others on this sort of thing!

    Morning everyone!

i consider Plymouth kind of close as i'm in the South West and it's still 1h 40 mins away!

A few questions for you all.. We're moved furniture around in the bedroom to make room for the baby and i have now got a crib on my side of the bed, it's a fair sized crib - same as this but pine. Am i being unreasonable in hoping she'd be able to sleep in the crib by my bedside until 6 months ish? (now the really silly questions are coming) she won't be able to err... climb out at that stage will she? it's quite a high crib. We' moving house soon (before 6 months) and at the moment there's no room for the big cot bed in our bedroom. If i plan to continue BF past 6 months will i need to keep her in the bedroom or would she be okay in her own room?
  • Glad you are feeling better emsbet. Your bladder does shrink to the size of a pea in pregnancy, and you'll be weeing for England all the way through!

Don't feel silly about asking the MW any questions though. That's what they are for, and there is no question that is 'stupid' in something so important as having a baby :)

I'm going back to lurking now!

    Hi Alizee,
I'm thinking that bubba will be in a crib (also no room for a proper cot) beside me. I'm hoping I'll just stretch my arm out at feeding and grab the baby save me getting up in the middle of the night. Would have thought at six months they wouldn't be climbing out??? Our friends five month old baby came at the weekend and I was worried she'd roll off the sofa, but she can't roll over yet so could climb out a crib. I guess this is typical for the age group but I don't know.
