Soooo little sleep! One of the dogs, the greyhound of course so the one with the really thin skin, has managed to lick an old scar red raw to the point of bleeding, and since it really needs to get the air to it to help it scab over - we've been on lick watch all night (coupled with her wearing a very very fetching pair of pink pyjama bottoms to try to keep her tongue off it).

Nothing happening here apart from feeling like I not slept for a week, had 20 min nap until the door woke me up which is unusual for me as I cannot nap at all. My eyes are so heavy!

I also feel oddly full despite not eating anything since last night, my appetite has vanished, I just want to crawl in to a bath and go back to bed.

I have a cough which isnt great timing, just generally feel like pooo.

Jem - I haven't gone near the RLT and don't think I probably will. It would make me very nervous that the baby would shoot out. Daft I know but don't think I'll risk it.

Dizzi - poor you. Hope the doggie gets better so you can get some sleep soon.

Ravenlady - I'm not surprised you are twiddling your thumbs. Are you booked in for a sweep?

I wish I had some pizza, been craving it all week - I want some now!!!

I had ryvita's with tuna and cherry toms - wasok, but not quite Pizza!

My appetite is weird all the time,the metformin and insulin have one big side effect, and that is as an appetite surpressant!

It was weigh in day this morning, hubby finally had some more weight loss(been sulking for 3 weeks as he has stayed the same) and it finally took him to 1lb over his 6 and a half stone, but also dropped him down into the 15 stone range, so he is happy!

I however put 2lb on this week, so now eight 2lb more than I did at my 8 week booking in appointment - not bad I suppose!

afternoon all,

labour vibes to the boldies and all those fed up, alot of babies seem happy to stay put at the moment!! hopefully we will have a boom over the next week.

hope everyone is ok. ive got parents evening tonight so its going to be a rush getting dinner ready seems to be a busy few weeks at the boys schools aqt the moment with onbe thing or another going on which is just typical!!

i woke up in the night with really bad stomach pains but they stopped by morning, im now wondering if i imagined it!! :cool:

ok, so we went to the midwife this morning, took approx 3 seconds to find a stable heartbeat, 20 seconds for her to say that everything looks good (even though my wife has low blood pressure) and a few minutes later, we had the MATB1 form.

16 weeks to go... from the stories above, we're going to have a fun time... PS pizza sounds good, but don't melt an easter egg on it...

Glad all is well and you heard the heartbeat lovely hearing it, I shed a tear when i first heard it.

Whilst I think of it, and bearing in mind many of you are somewhat further along with this whole pregnancy thing.... have any of you found that driving has become too challenging, once the bump is too big?

Would you be able to enlighten me on approximately what stage of pregnancy this would be expected to cause us a problem? (or what time you found that you were no longer able to drive...)

My wife currently drives 10 miles each way, and we're now trying to work out how late she'll be able to push herself, without having too much of a problem. Your experiences might give us a clue as to what to expect...

PS I forgot to mention earlier, my wife was in hysterics last night when I showed her this thread from yesterday. Thanks for cheering her up, and showing her how to take this pregnancy stuff so not seriously...!
