I could do with some of your energy Sammie. Maybe you are still having your sugar rush from the haul of trifles and donuts you bought the other day.DS1 born June 2000

Oh I'm a bit like that with mine. I love emptying it.
Slightly excited right now as my shopping has arrived. I'm eyeing up the flapjacks as we speak. They are only tiny!!!! Hahaha

Oh I have many highlights in my day. The list starts off with trying to make sure I don't wet myself. And from the second I wake up I'm excited about going to bed. But yes, the sense of satisfaction when all that dust falls in your bin is pretty damm good. Am I odd? xxDS1 born June 2000

Hi Girls,
Firstly, huge congratulations to Darkphaery!!!! :j:j
I'm still here, I tried going to an antenatal drop-in clinic yesterday morning for another sweep. Still no luck - my very uncooperative cervix is still prosterior and now tipped (?) and the nice MW couldn't even get a fingertip in.
She said she's managed to give it a "tickle" (not quite sure that's the description I would use!) but we still have time for a 3rd attempt tomorrow. I'll call up Stoke Mandeville antenatal dept and see if they can squeeze us in. Other than that it is induction on Thursday.
Thanks for the reassurance Redhead, I have been a little concerned that I will end up with a c-section but as you pointed out it isn't necessarily the case.
For anyone that is anxious about a sweep I've found both so far to be mildly uncomfortable but not painful if that helps any!
Really getting to the fed up point now, I am shattered doing anything and spend most of my time when out and about looking for the next place to have a little rest and sitdownSaturday I overdid it and walked a mile each way (didn't know it was so far until I got back and checked out of curiosity) to town and back, I won't be doing that again until Elvis is here and in a pram!

You know you're pregnant when you take to wheeling yourself round the office on your chair so as not to have to strain to get up! I am sooooo lazy at the mo, wish my nesting instict would kick in a bit more, I did however fill two charitybags with old work clothes and other clothing I won't need to make room for baby things.
My mam said last night "you'll dress differently when you're not working for a year" and she's right, I have very few casual outfits though but it wouldn't be MSE to buy loads of new stuff, especially as I'm so tall new jeans are upwards of £25, so I'm gonna do an audit of what I do have tonight and hope I can fit back into what I do have quickly0 -
*shy peek*
hello all you soon to give birth peeps. I'm not really here, I don't know why I'm here, and I definitely don't want to officially move over - as that'll mean that my wife is soon due to drop a baby on my doorstep...
*runs away*Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...0 -
I'm another one that likes to see how much dirt the dyson has picked up :0)
Just got back from our Fetal Medicine scan, baby is still small but growing steadily. All fluids etc were fine. Femur still in 3rd centile but as other measurements are fairly small I think/hope we will just have a small baby. Have to go back for another one on 28th March to check growth again but also because the little monkey is breech with feet by face, wish I had their flexability!!
Icey, hope your 'tickle' worked!0
