Thankyou Dizzi and ginvzt for your comments on this.

I had been wanting a glider chair but had decided I'd get the Ikea Poang one as that was a cheaper alternative and I'd always fancied one of them. Anyway - Dizzi i clicked on your link and saw that chair and thought.. I'll google it and see if its any cheaper anywhere else neaer me as that's nearly the same price as the poang one. Anyway - there was one on gumtree in my area for £50 ONO - hardly used. I emailed them and picked it up yesterday for £40 and its fab! I love that the stool rocks as well and my hubby loves it too.. I think there may be a fight as to who uses it.

They had bought it at the local pram centre for £200+!

Awesome! We've lost the stool though... the cat's claimed it as her sneering imperiously at the world perch of choice this month (it's the perfect height for swiping dogs as they walk by apparently).

Hey everyone. I woke this morning with a smile on my face as I was in my own bed rather than on the ward. I also managed to get 12 hours sleep in last night, which is unheard of for me, but I guess the hourly obs through the night while in hospital probably weren't conducive to good sleep.

Have managed to get hold of my doctor eventually, and get a prescription for the new tablets which is reassuring. DH spent yesterday cleaning the house so I wouldn't be tempted to - he's told me my only job is to grow our baby, and he'll be mad if he catches me pushing myself rather than relaxing and keeping the bp down. I feel very lucky to have him at the moment.

Glad everything went well Emmylou and you are back home with baby Flynn.
Labour vibes to boldies and others who are fed up with still being pregnant.
After my dyeing the shirts debacle it just got worse. They go dyed pink and then i managed to bleach them back to white. For some reason i then decided it would be a good idea to wash them again with a pair of navy jeans. The result is now my son has lovely baby blue shirts!!! Im just gonna buy more as i have a feeling they are ruined.
Also last night i made my DS soup. To his utter hilarity i then got a plate out of the cupboard and started pouring it on that. He was on the floor in hysterics but i could have just run off. I think im going mad.
Also, can anybody help me? Everytime i stand up i feel like i am being shot in my foof. Its not a pleasurable experience and i have no idea why. Any clues?
Oh and flutterby, glad you are back home and all is ok.
    XXX

Thanks happy :) lol I really did laugh out loud at the soup on the plate!

Glad you are home and DH is helping out and making you rest. Just what the doctor ordered, quite literally.

    I'm a boldie, I'm a boldie :j

Not feeling like anything is about to happen though :) Curry last night, tidying and cleaning the house today with a whole pineapple to consume :) Just hope something sets her off. Back at MW tomorrow.

Congrats on becoming a bolide, hope it's not for too long. Enjoy the pineapple.

Clarysage massage, so is that designed to bring on labour then? I have a gorgeous Lush conditioner from SIL but it has clarysage so I've not used it during pregnancy, it's prob in such a small amount it would be OK but I'm keeping it as a 38 week+ treat!

Are there any essential oils that are to be avoided when bf too?

Must remember to ask the MW about raspberry leaf tea, I'm 32 weeks, is it about now I could start taking the lower dose?

Ah Gopppers you're back, was wondering about you, glad to hear all is well, they do scare us from time to time don't they!

Happy, on the subject of going mad, I called my mother instead of DH three times yesterday, have to write everything down at work otherwise it doesn't get done and apparently woke DH up in the night yesterday and asked if he had a cat on his head! We don't have a cat, he had nothing on his head, I couldn't take care of myself and a cat never mind a baby at the moment!

I know I shouldn't but I've taken to a daily chocolate bar to get me through work, I feel rubbish about it as I used to have good will power and I know it's comfort eating but it's the only thing getting me through :D

Long post, I definately need the chocolate now!

Let yourself off with the chocolate Amymo. One bar a day isn't going to end the world, and feeling guilty about it isn't doing anyone any good. I think there are plenty of us on here who are putting away more than our fair share of the stuff atm. I'll put my hand up and admit I may have eaten a whole chocolate orange while reading my book last night, just didn't notice I kept eating it until the tin foil was empty!

I blame the Easter eggs in the shops for my chocolate habit.
