Hope everything went well for emmy, how exciting! ETA - managed to not see the whole last page of this thread when I was catching up - congratulations Emmy on the birth of baby Flynn :j How does it feel to have a little boy after all your girls?! xx

Welcome Lexi, and big congrats to alamaya, what an amazing surprise.

The hen do was great, had a lovely relaxing time. The hotel was so posh, I felt very underdressed when I arrived! Had the most gorgeous meal last night, was amazing. Went to bed at 12.30 and slept really badly, though, so am very tired now, going to bed in a min.

We accepted a quote for the work on our loft, so that's cool (if scary - it's so much money!) The builder also said he's planning to put some extra guys on the job so that he can get the work done in 7-8 weeks instead of 10-12, so that's really good, as 10-12 weeks takes us far too close to my due date for comfort!

My mum's given me her gym ball to sit on, which is cool, I find it really comfy, even though I'm convinced I'm going to fall off it at some point, lol!

Right, I'm sure there was lots more I was going to say but I'm so tired my eyes are stinging. So I'll say good night

Right, I hope for better luck. Just ordered the glider chair from Boots and two mattresses, used £50 discount voucher from parenting club, £31 worth of points and the total came to £203.97. I think it is not a bad deal... It says it will arrive this week, so fingers crossed.

I even got OH to agree to getting this! Can't wait to build it in the room, so I can sit there and enjoy - I keep going in and just looking around, even though there is only one cot and a baby washing drying out!

Gin, have you tried gumtree for a cot? Always lots of baby bits on our local one

Off to see the midwife in the morning, wonder if all my cleaning on all fours has paid off and turned baby head down?

I have looked on our gumtree, but it doesn't seem very popular. I want to get the same cot as I got now, it is mamas & papas Sherwood one, lovely oak.

Yes, it is! I think it says Manchester, which is not that far if it is north side, it can be quite a drive if it is in the wrong side. Will contact the person

The code I used is the parenting club one you receive when you join, it is only for nursery furniture. PCNF25
