Icey please can we have that cake recipe?! I've got some brownish bananas to do something with and OH loves banana bread/cake!

Well, we didn't have the best week with our orders this week. First, Boots didn't send the second car seat saying it went out of stock. Now need to hunt another one for £100 or less.

Then, we ordered Kenwood blender from Amazon (to prepare baby food in the future), it was a great price, just for Amazon to cancel the order today saying they cannot get anymore of these from the suppliers. It is not even on my account anymore that I have ever ordered!

And in the way home the guy who was supposed to collect the fish tank sent a text saying he can't collect it anymore as the mirror got knocked off his car and his girlfriend's car is too small, so we will have to list it for the third time!!!

Then, I come home, clean the nursery, we build the cot, only to find out that the screws that hold the support rail have worn out the holes and basically don't hold the cot together. So, when we put it all together, the mattress base is not staying in place and is falling off!! In general, it is not as great as expected, there are quite a few blemishes on the wood, but it will be ok. I still like. Just now we will need to drill some holes through to screw the support rail tightly, as otherwise the cot is unsafe and unusable! I paid £100 for it, including the cot top changer (not very good condition, either), it said it is in great condition, so didn't expect it to be falling apart! Ok, it included the mattress, but I am sere to be changing that, as I think it has been used for two babies already, and I think I can feel it a bit less supportive in places. Oh well, hope next week is going to be better...

I still need to get a second cot as well, just there aren't any on eBay close by!

    evening ladies

Hope everything went well for emmy, how exciting! :DETA - managed to not see the whole last page of this thread when I was catching up - congratulations Emmy on the birth of baby Flynn :j How does it feel to have a little boy after all your girls?! xx

Welcome Lexi, and big congrats to alamaya, what an amazing surprise.

The hen do was great, had a lovely relaxing time. The hotel was so posh, I felt very underdressed when I arrived! Had the most gorgeous meal last night, was amazing. Went to bed at 12.30 and slept really badly, though, so am very tired now, going to bed in a min.

We accepted a quote for the work on our loft, so that's cool (if scary - it's so much money!) The builder also said he's planning to put some extra guys on the job so that he can get the work done in 7-8 weeks instead of 10-12, so that's really good, as 10-12 weeks takes us far too close to my due date for comfort!

My mum's given me her gym ball to sit on, which is cool, I find it really comfy, even though I'm convinced I'm going to fall off it at some point, lol!

Right, I'm sure there was lots more I was going to say but I'm so tired my eyes are stinging. So I'll say good night :)

    BB x
