Re ironing, I am one of those that don't iron... Ok, when we get guests, I will iron their bed linen and table cloth, and do the rest of the latest washing a the same time, but then can g for months wihout ironing again... It is not that I don't like it, it just takes long time, and no ne else (OH) appreciates it!
The bump is feeling slightly better, I don't think it is the support issue. It was quite bad earlier, I was in pain even breathing, we had to go to the vet with the cat (just booster shots), and it was really uncomfortable. The pain is mainly in the sides. I definitely haven't overdone it, I was in the office a the desk most of the day, and it was hurting every time I tried to move! Had some miso soup for dinner and watermelon, so hope more liquids in me will do some good.
I think I am going to sleep on the sofa for a while tonight, as I am finding it more comfortable....
Sorry for complaining again....Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Glad the bump is feeling better Ginvzt.
I'd stay on the sofa too if it was more comfy. Whatever works xxDS1 born June 2000

Still every 20 mins, Tesco have just delivered and I got a lot of good substitutions this week! I ordered 2 bags of their value bio powder @ £2.59 each (its actually quite good and smells nice) and they subbed me 2 x 3.25kg boxes of Ariel bio (£12 each!) and they upgraded my steaks, washing up liquid, gammon and baby wipes too.
Fridges, freezers and cupboards are all stocked up now, bath is running, nappies are in the wash so just finishing off the washing up and hopefully il have something or other to report later.Little Person Number 4 Due March 2012

Good Luck Raven Lady
how early are you? The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Good luck Ravenlady!
I have also been on the chocolate vibe tonight. It's terrible all those easter chocolate being out everywhere!
Ginvzt I am also having cramps and "bump ache" ( related to my SPD ) so I feel for you xx
On a positive note I am feeling very smug as I have bought all of my re-usable nappies at fab prices and have enough from birth to potty training
I had a brain wave and checked on eBay for the brand I wanted. Loads of people had bought nappy sets and not used them, so were selling them on. I got LOADS for £180 which is under half what it would have cost from supplier/Toy R Us/Boots etc and they are all new. That included accessories like nappy bin/bags/wt bags/liners etc. Yay

Woo yay off for another glucose tolerance test this morning - and am blooming starving. Tooth's still niggling and has had me up since 4.30 - going to try to get more joy out of the dentists when I get back from the hospital this lunchtime, if I can actually get IN there great - if not going to beg for a prescription for antibiotics and if that doesn't work - going to beg the GP for them cos I know there's an infection in there and the tooth's now so sore I can't brush it.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

Morning all!
Good luck raven, I hope things have continued to progress over night. fab substitutions on your shopping. I got a free bottle of ariel washing liquid with my order last week that must have been meant for someone else! Unfortunately it's not non-bio so will have to be sneaky about using it (for mine and DH's stuff only) as DH is funny about it!happydays77 wrote: »I've moved into this new house at the beginning of last October and I am proud to say my new ironing board has never been out of the packaging. Is that really bad!!!!!???
My ironing board is almost 3 years old and has probably been used less than 10 times! I iron shirts and stuff but we rarely go out so they're not worn often. My work clothes don't crease if I give them a good shake when they come out of the machine and DH wears big thick overalls over his all shift so no-one sees them. I will be ironing all the baby stuff when I wash it though, it'll probably never get done again but at least it'll all be nice for when it first arrives!
I can't wait to leave work, as you've probably already gathered! The job I used to do finished in october so I've been stuck on a boring project ever since. its something that I was verykeen to NOT get involved with when it first started a few months earlier and I did my best to avoid having anything to do it. at that time it was run by 1 manager who was 2 levels above me and 2 managers the level above me, now its just me!!!! And its soooooooooo boring! I'd have definately been looking for another job long ago if I hadn't known I was leaving anyway.
Has anyone bought a baby carrier? Not a sling, I want one of those ones that you wear on your front and can have baby facing you or facing out. I don't want to spend a fortune as it won't get used loads but there are a few walks I'd like to be able to do over the summer that aren't practicle with a pram due to stiles etc.0
