  • Morning :)

Good luck Ravenlady, Emmylou and Serendisglair, hope you are all having mummy cuddles soon :)

I'm another one of the 'anti-ironing' brigade :o it is my absolute pet hate and I will do everything necessary to avoid it. Funny, I remember my Nan used to iron everything - even socks

I think my nesting instinct might have kicked in this morning (although at 25 weeks I know its probably a bit early :o). I have a really strong desire to get everything sorted all of a sudden.

Finally got somewhere with outstanding wages - apparently a cheque was posted out to me in last nights post... not holding my breath til it actually arrives though ;)

Good luck Seren and Raven (queue jumper!!) :)

Glad to hear you got some drugs Dizzi!

I'm in a grump this morning, I was the front runner of girls in our NCT class and already two have had their babies! Really impatient to meet my girl now!!

I'm another of the non-ironing brigade, don't do it unless I really, really have to. Give everything a good snap before I put it on the airer and it's fine :o

  • Just back from the midwife. I have a bladder infection apparently and need antibiotics so now got to rely on my doctors for a prescription. You really would think the madwife could prescribe such things.
My blood pressure is back to normal though so that is good.
Now I'm going food shopping to marks and Spencer to cheer myself up. Might nip for a couple of cheap Easter eggs aswell. Be rude not to!!

  • Afternoon all.

Gosh i am so bored today, maternity leave is very boring with no baby and constant messages saying 'any signs yet?' i wouldn't mind so much but only 39+2 not even due until Monday and they have been coming in for a good week now! Am going to get to a point where i'm switching the phone off.

MIL is moving house tomorrow, decided to sell hers about a year ago but left it until 3 months ago to put it on the market. It's all gone through really easy and quick but couldn't be a worse time my DH and me are the only people in his side of the family who drive so waiting on a phone call asking if he can help. Don't mean to sound selfish but it's 5 days before my due date, i'm alone at home during the day and would like him to come home and spend the evenings with me! At least baby hasn't made an early appearance or we wouldn't be able to help out at all.

Just been looking on Ne*t web page and ordered some lovely baby boy items for my step brother & his wife who are due in May. Quite a lot of boys things on the offer section and i managed not to buy anything for my little miss :)

DH came home last night with a bag or nappies and unworn, still tagged baby clothes from someone he works with, it's unbelievable how generous people are when it comes to babies.

Off to make some lunch now, I'm feeling like eggy bread :) Followed by a buttons easter egg that i am trying desperately to forget is in the cupboard :)

labour vibes to those who need them!

I know exactly how you feel (although I am not getting text messages yet as am only 25 weeks lol). I have been on enforced maternity leave for 7 weeks now due to redundancy and I am climbing the walls :o It's sad when I can honestly say the highlight of my day is the afternoon school run as I know I will have some company when DS is home :rotfl:I have taken to having full length conversations with the three cats; at least they don't argue back :p

Hi ladies - I have got some horrid tummy pain. A bit like the cramping of ibs which i've been told is similar to how it feels in early labour!! Is this the real thing or just braxton hick? I'm only 19 weeks! It kinda starts near the top of my stomach and then works all the way down to my foof. Just feel like I need to let out a massive bit of wind lol. Is it my uterus or just muscles spasming? Gosh i'm all confused and worried like.
