Emmy, sorry it was just a test!!!

Dizzy, hope you can get some rest from the toothache. Try and get to the dentist, maybe you can see someone else?

Well, since wishing all to have a good sleep I have been wide awake since 3.40am.... Stayed in bed hoping to fall asleep till 5.30, she I decided I better get up and get ready for work. The mind was just so busy with things, simply could not switch off. It is going to be a hard day at work. On the other hand, I had a nice long shower, washed the dishes, watered my lemon and orange trees, sorted a couple of bits in the kitchen, my lunch (fruit and yoghurt) box is packed, and aim having a relaxed breakfast, as I am ready to go anytime I want.

The hot water soak for my feet last night was a big help, they were ok tonight. Just wish could have had more sleep.

  • Sorry you didn't sleep well Ginvzt. Seems to be an occupational hazard with this pregnancy lark.
You sound super organised for the day though. Hope your eyes manage to stay open at work

Morning all, labour vibes to the boldies, am I right in thinking we haven't seen Lucy yesterday?

Just read back, sounds like a positive scan Laura, when I head through to the kitchen I'm gonna check the scales to see what three and a half pounds feels like as you're just a few days on from me! I always struggle to imagine weights but am curious to see as my bump feels a bit heavier this week!

I was such a grumpy boots after work yesterday that I took the dog out, then climbed into bed at quarter to eight, DH brought me a cream cake through at nine, then I had a wee and got out again at half seven this morning! Slept and drowsed on and off for ten hours, feel refreshed but not much feeling like going in to work!

Thanks for the M&P tip off Gilly, will check my emails today!

I am not that organised, you should see our house - it is like a tip!!!!! But I am trying to slowly reclaim the place from all the junk we have around. The nursery is being painted this Thursday-Friday, and I can't wait for it to be finished!!!!! I need to clean a rug (it is a fairly big one), but don't want to hire rug doctor as it is so heavy, and the professional service I am afraid might be quite pricey. It is a cream one, and was in the room before, when it was a guest room, and has some blacks marks, which I guess are mascara from when my cousin was staying with us for 5 weeks (honestly, I have never seen anyone using so much make-up!!!! My own is in the drawer, and I get it out once or twice a year - I still have my meakeup stuff from the wedding over 5 years ago!!!!). Any ideas how is it best to clean it? It has been down for 3 years, and I think it could do with a good clean before we start putting furniture in the room. The floor is cork tiles, not the pretiest thing, but we are not changing that.

I want to sort ut so much in the house before babies arrive, but OH is already starting to worry about the money (we will have enugh on one salary, but we won't be able to live like now with my income dropping so much, and we won't be able to save as we are now). However, our dishwasher stopped working last Friday (fills with water, but doesn't spray around and wash the dishes, I can get it to empty thought, which is a good thing I think.) We might attempt to sort out the cloackroom over Eater break, and I was goingto ask for a very specific present for my birthday in autumn - new carpet/flooring for hallway/stairs/landing.... I do't want much :o

Ok, sorry for the rtamble, my brain is half asleep and I am on autopilot this morning...
