My swelling seems to have got much worse today - my engagement ring and boots were as tight first thing this morning as they normally are after a day at work. Come on flip flop weather!!
Have worked out that after today, I only have 35 working days left until I start mat leave after 3rd May - woo hoo! This is keeping me going today!!
I had to take my engagement ring off a couple of weeks ago (it was always the smaller-fitting of the two rings and I wear it on my slightly fatter hand because it doesn't sit well next to my wedding ring)... wedding ring's still fine though.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -

My engagement ring was a bit too big before pregnancy so I am ok with that at the moment, the ring I wear on my other hand (great grandma's engagement ring) has had to be moved down a finger though!0

Happy due date Emmylou.
I'm feeling rotten today. Don't know really why but I could just crawl away and hide somewhere.
I might try chocolate

I'm the same today - I have had a biscuit boost and a milky way cake bar - feel so tired but sickness has gone anyway, hoorah for chocolate.0 -
Just back from our scan appointment. Bowel is mildly echogenic but they don't seem too worried. Femur length is measuring in the third percentile (53mm at 31 plus 5) so have to o back again in 2 weeks. Ather measurements were near enough average. Baby is 3.3lbs0

Oh gawd... my horrific toothache is back - paracetamol just isn't touching it, haven't slept all night and I know the dentist won't do anything if I get booked in to see her since I mentioned this tooth was niggly back when I was just pregnant. Hoping the flare up of pain fades but considering in the past this tooth's had me on every single painkiller combo possible and still screaming in pain - I doubt it.
With this and the SPD - I don't know if I can hack another three months of this to be honest - the pelvic pain's bad enough, toothache into the equation will finish me totally. Feeling pretty like I've hit a brick wall here now with pain and tiredness... yet I've got no right to complain really.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
Afternoon All
Happy due date EmmyLou. Hope you dont have long to wait now!
Laura I hope all is well in your next scan.3.3lbs sounds a good weightxx
4 weeks left at work for me. I ve been interviewing for my maternity cover today. Its a wierd feeling interviewing people for my own job! Obviously I want them to be good for my boss' sake and so that i dont come back to a mess, but at the same time I dont want them to be too good and show me up! LOL!
Could do with a mid afternoon nap now. Sadly dont think I will get away with that though!
Silly questions here - if baby is going to sleep in a moses basket to start with, what bedding do i use? Is it just a blanket or do I need to swaddle? Its just occurred to me that I have no idea how to put a baby to bed! I have a couple of those gro bag things for when bubba goes in to the cot but I think they are too big to use with a moses basket. Confused!0 -
Yeah I think the weight is ok, only slightly under average. Think baby will just have short legs like mummy. Is also breech at the moment but have 8 weeks for him/her to turn.
I don't know much about what bedding to use but I would assume given the time of year swaddling baby should be sufficient, I wouldn't have thought you would need a blanket too x0
