I actually had my first pain free night in over a week last night yay!!!! Oh and the cat was a pain in the a***!!!! DD3 was up at 5am too :( fingers crossed for a better night tonight!!! Had some right weird dreams too :/ DD1 had a huge bed....in the garden?!!! And i had to change the sheets in the rain on a superking bed lmao!

*Ro* I really dont know how u type on here in the middle of the night, i struggle just to keep my eyes open at night feeds never mind going on here :/ xx

Lucy, fingers crossed something happens soon! But good news on the sleep!!!!

Emmylou - sorry about the poor night. I had an upset stomach tonight, still not feeling right. I wasn't sick or anything, but so painful!!!!! Kept me awake for some time at night. Took a day off at work today, so can try and rest more during the day on the sofa/bed, wherever feels more comfortable. Can't even face any breakfast, made myself a pot of camomile, so will try and have that. I even gave in tonight and had a glass of pepsi (!!!!! the only sparkling drink we had - I opened the bottle for the plasterer yesterday) at 1am, hoping that the bubbles will get my stomach 'in operation' again.

Never mind, it means I have a day to rest, maybe later on will be up for something more, as I really could do with putting some seeds in the pots to plant in the garden later on (nothing much, maybe a few tomatoes, salad, chilli, the rest like peas and potatoes will go straight in the ground once it warms up/dries up). Our garden is so soggy now, that we still haven't done the autumn clearing - all that talk about the draught, and here we are swimming!

Oh, and thanks ladies for the support on the changing table. I know I am getting one. the one on the cot is ok, and it will be useful, I think it might be a bit high for me (I am not very tall, 5'5"), but I am not compromising on this, and I will get it. I am just going to wait for some good discounts, maybe there will be £x of £xx or something, and then if I manage to use my TAMBA discount as well with it, I might get it for a reasonable price. Also - that dresser at mothercare have extra drawers and a cupboard, which will be so useful to put things away!

  • I insisted on just a very budget changing table for upstairs. While it's semi-ok for me because I'm used to crawling up and down on the floor from work - hubby's so tall I think he'll struggle - so we got a cheap but non-rickety (lots of them were really wobbly) one for upstairs.

Really really hacked off this morning - have hardly slept, thought I'd manage to get some zzz this morning and next door's got the scaffolders out from 8am taking down his scaffolding. That's fine - yeah we've had two weeks of his roofers starting at 8am hammering directly above my head... but HE is the one who collared us two days after moving in to complain that we were doing DIY at 10am and could we make sure we started anything noisy later so his son got a lie in after night shift.... yet it just seems constantly that consideration is a one-way street with him - he "helpfully" tells us anything that needs doing to our house - but it's all stuff HE wants done in HIS interest and my temper's getting somewhat frayed (add in the fact the scaffolding's been fixed to the fence we paid out to get repaired the very day after it blew down the other month to keep his face straight - without us even being asked if that was ok - and I'm incredibly cheesed off). Also cheesed off he's done all the work over half-term when I was off, and didn't ever bother to mention to us that he was getting this noisy work done - but mentioned it to the rest of the street didn't he? Now he's had his roof replaced the pressure's going to inevitably start to get ours done to match - we can't afford to at the moment, we're going to have to get someone in to do an interim fix on some loose slates (which he's bugging us about - but since we've had a year of HIS roof slates landing in our garden he can flipping well deal with waiting till the summer), which we knew needing doing - but I ain't dropping everything to get a new roof on when HE thinks we should - when the house survey says we've prob got another decade left in the current one maximum.

Tempted to try to crutch it along to the paper shop for a large bar of chocolate and can of something carbonated to get this grouch off a bit! Should take me a few hours to go a couple of hundred yards.

Speaking of crutches - I had to go to Tesco the other day and I was horrified. Considering to anyone with half a clue about pregnancy it's incredibly obvious what's wrong with me - you'd generally expect the trolley rage crew to be the businessmen picking up sarnies for lunch, and the odd venomous OAP... but nope - the ones making nasty remarks that I shouldn't be in there on crutches (and I was being very careful to not block the aisles) and shoving trollies straight at me... mothers with babies in them. Again, consideration = one-way street apparently.

  • Gin, hope u feel better today hun xxx

Dizzi, funnily enough it was just yesterday i had a conversation with someone about how old people are the rudest about! they moan on and on about teenagers, single mums getting in the way etc, yet they cant even be arsed to say thanks when u give up a sea on the bus for them!!! Its like they think its their right to be put first, well i`m sorry but its not!!! Rant over ;)

I have DD3 home form nursery today as the teacher in charge has a broken arm so cant go to work and theres no cover for today :( Could do with having a nap today too! xx

I've never bee early with my boys so I expect to go until at least my due date with this munchkin.
I have found this pregnancy alot more difficult with having to do school runs etc and I was hoping that would make baby come early with all the walking but I have a feeling I'm going to go over!! :o
Your baby could still come before your due date emmylou. But then again it is a boy and we all know how lazy they can be!! :D
