Pram turned up at 11:58 today - exactly when Kiddicare said it would Put it up, wheeled it around the house, still happy with it though now it's been put back in its box until nearer my EDD.

Mine is next Monday, Lucys is 2moro lol, altho if baby wants to come 2moro thats fine with me But thank u for the congrats! i cant wait til he is here, DD3 keeps talking to my bump, saying come on baby i wanna play with u.....think she thinks he is gonna come able to crawl and talk lol! Glad ur feeling a bit better now u`ve had a chat to ur DH Dont forget we r all here to chat to aswell, plus the newborn thread once u`ve had baby xx

Kimberley, all 3 of my DDs were back to back and came out that way too. Tell ur daughter to stay upright/facing forward as much as poss in labour to help with the contractions in the back. I`m hoping for a normal facing baby this time, therefor a nice quick easy labour haha!

Thank you. Can you tell me how long you were in labour for? her midwife said she will have a long labour if he doesn't turn round. I thought babies cannot be delivered back to back because of the bend they have to push through.

Kimberley - my son was back to back and in not going to say it wasn't painful but he came out absolutely fine.

My 1st was 19 hours start to finish, thats waters going at 3 am, and not starting contracting regularly until about 10am, had baby 9.44pm with forceps. DD2 was 5 and a half hours start to finish, only 3 hours regular contractions, and DD3 was 4 and a half hours, only 3 hours contractions. they can and do come out the wrong way, its rare as they do usually turn. But my old midwife called it star gazing Ur daughters midwife shouldnt have told her it`d be a long labour as thats just unfair and mean! 1st labours can be anything up to 24 hours anyway so tell ur daughter not to worry!! As its her first, she`ll know no different pain wise and have nothing to compare it to so will be fine. And at least she`ll have the option of asking for an epidural None of my babies did they know they were back to back! And i`ve never had an epidural lol. xx

Happy i did mine abou 30 weeks i think, well started to, only finished it a few weeks ago! And still added to it just the other night lol! How many weeks r u now?! xx
