Oh dear. 31 weeks tomorrow and had been doing fine with the hormones but irrationality has now set in. just broke down on oh because it won't just be us any more and feel awful for saying it. I am just feeling so scared all of a sudden. I don't have baby experience and worry I won't be a good mummy. He gave me a nice cuddle and I feel a bit better now. Hope this doesnt carry on :0(

Hi EmmyLou, I'm also a full-time mum and *think* I've got the foof-related SPD discussed by Dizziblonde. Seeing MW Fri to confirm and there is no way I can really stop carrying my 15mth old around, up and down stairs, pushing the pram etc...

Did she give any practical advice for us lazy a%se mums?;)
I'm doing the pelvic floor exercises and trying to be aware of my posture all the time but it is so hard to do this all day with a toddler to look after.:(

Laura, u`ll be fine hun xx Just dont be scared to tell people how u feel if u feel crap after the baby is born. No one knows how to be a mum, its something we ALL have to learn. And like everything in life, we cant all be good at it, as long as we try our best. Just dont do what Katie has just done on Corrie!!!!!!

ladylegs, I honestly felt like smacking the woman! Does she think doing 3 school runs a day, plus all of the housework, shopping, running round behind a disabled DH as well as having a life is easy?!!!! Argh silly woman!! But no she didnt really say alot. Just dont push the trolley when shopping, so guessing the pram would be similar, and getting the toddler to do things like climb onto a chair to be lifted, rather than me lifting them straight off of the ground. All very well in theory, just not practical at all! Esp as ur one is so lil still! She told me to get into the car as if i was wearing a pencil skirt, so knees together....well i cant do it for toffee!! xx

Laura - I think it's normal to have feelings like that. My DS is 11 and I still question whether I am a good mum to him on a regular basis. It's just part of what being a parent is and I would worry if those feelings never surfaced. You are probably just having one of those days and am sure it will pass xx

No chance here then either - we've got a Ford Puma with bucket seats...I struggled to get in it before I was pregnant. Argh!(Thanks though - will see if I get any referral Fri)

Laura The fact you are worrying about being a good mummy says to me you'll be a great mummy since you are so conscientious of it and how it will impinge on your relationship.;) Those Hormones skew all rational thought too and it always seems worse than it is iyswim.

And welcome MrsH...I'm afraid I can't help with adding you to the list as I'm utterly useless at anything other than typing a simple post but I'm sure someone will be along to do it soon xx
