Hey all, hope everyone is OK, sorry for those having boiler problems, typical time of year for it!

Just wondered if anyone can help me- I am feeling really itchy on the bump, neck and legs, I seem to be coming up in a rash and not sure what to do. I haven't changed my shower gel or anything so not sure what to do. I don't really want to look on google cos I'm sure i'll find something scary. I'm 14+4 today. Seeing MW on Thursday so will mention it,
    Thanks guys,

Hi Gemma, I'm pretty sure Kira had something similar and was prescribed aqueous cream with menthol and it really helped her :)

I was told to watch out for the itchiness as it can be a symptom for something, can't remember what though. It might be worth giving a ring to midwife just in case.

Keza big bugs hope things speed up for u soon x
  • Good luck Keza! Hope it starts to progress more quickly for you soon

Booked my mat leave today - 39 weeks starting from 21st May. Planning to take 2 weeks of annual leave before that. 6 weeks before EDD feels a bit indulgent but my DD was nearly 2 weeks early and I think I'm likely to need to be giving the commute a miss by that point.

Hope everyone's had a nice Valentine's day xx

Thank you. I think there is something when you are a bit further along to do with your liver that makes you itch which is why I didn't want to look anything up just yet. Will talk to a MW tomorrow (I work in a hospital so hopefully I can find a friendly one I know!) and see what they think. Just put some body butter on and feels loads better, maybe just cold weather and heating drying out my skin.

Can I just ask- what is a boldie? I keep imagining bald ladies or babies which I know can't be right!

A boldie is when you get to your due date and your name is made bold on the due date list. My bump has been really itchy last few days too. The skin doesnt look dry but I think it happens when the skin is stretching. I have been putting loadsa cream on and it definitely helps
