i wish i had time to have a long, relaxing bath in peace without a 5 year old or 8 year old needing the toilet as soon as i get in (and its usually not just a wee!! :eek:)

you have a little while until baby will obviously do this but believe me he will!!! :cool:

Gilly, might be worth you wearing a spare muslin under your top for a day (or two) to make is good and niffy of mummy smell, and then putting it over the sheet of the crib where his head goes, so it smells confortingly of mummy.

morning everyone!

Just checking in, can't believe there are still no February babies, good luck to Sitting & Mozzy

Just realised i'm 9th after the boldies, getting there slowly but surely!

Well it's technically day 3 of maternity leave for me, I'm so bored! Don't know what i'm supposed to be doing with myself. House is immaculate and i just can't sit and do nothing! Dog is not back to the vets until tomorrow so until then he's not allowed to be walked so i can't even have a pootle out with him!

Went out for tea with some friends last night and one of them had made me a labour bag with all the essentials she has needed/wanted through her labour, which i thought was really sweet of her.

Well off to get dressed now, i was so sure i would be in my pj's for the next 3 weeks but i think getting dressed lifts my mood

Labour vibes to all those in need x

Morning. Urgh well boiler finally caput and feel really manky if I dont have my morning bath or shower:( Someone will be round in the next 24 hours:(

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced baby sling which has support? I ordered a cheap one from ebay but quite frankly,I'm not risking putting my baby in it as it seems as flimsy as anything:eek:

Had my 38 week check this morning. Baby is head down, and midwife was trying to tell me he was settled in a back to back position, despite me telling her he is sill freely spinning round and round. According to her thats unlikely at this stage......funny how when i got into the car i had a huge !!!! sticking out the front right under the ribs! Argh she drives me nuts, so glad she wont be delivering my baby. Theres blood and protein in the urine, along with the usual leukocytes. She didnt seem concerned tho so its been sent off for testing and nothing further was said. Blood pressure was 110/60 so perfectly fine. Came out feeling like crying dont know why, just fed up with being in pain and not being able to do anything! Countdown is on, still 4 weeks potentially until he is here tho which really really gets me down. Never mind, cant do alot about it.
Not being seen again until 40+1, sweep wont be offered until 40+7....
