no i last had them when dd1 was about 6 months old, im going to call them tomorow and see what they say, thanks hun.

I dont know if they will back date them? U r entitled to them from 10 weeks of pregnancy. If u explain u only just heard about them, they make back date. When i asked for them with DD3, DH had just been told he wouldnt be able to work anymore, and it took them months to sort my claim out, then they forgot my milk tokens, so i had a giro cheque thru for 8 weeks worth. Def ask if u can have them back dated xx

il ask them thanks. hopefully they backdate them. if not 2 tokens a week for the first year will be really helpfull.

How do you know if you're entitled to them? My OH works so does that mean I won't get them?

U need to be on income support or jobseekers Gilly. Think u may be entitled if ur income is very low too. x

Ah okay, we wouldn't get them then Thanks. I suppose we're lucky in a way as we're not going through much formula, because we're half and half feeding.

that would be my ideal, 1/2 and half, but DH is so against me Bf its unreal! I can understand all of his concerns, but I just feel like punching him and telling him to get stuffed its up to me haha! Also know theres no point trying if he isnt going to support me 100%, then again on the other hand, feel like doing it just to prove him wrong! x

Why doesn't your OH want you to do it Emmy? Would he feel left out? I'm expressing all my milk so OH still manages to get to feed LO. We give breast from about 7am-9pm and then anything after that is formula.

Well, a few reasons, with it being number 4, and me having never breastfed b4, he`s worried i`ll struggle with the other 3 girls to look after. Which is fair enough! Also he is worried as where i had PND with DD3, he thinks that if i *cant* do it for whatever reason i`ll get stressed and take it out on him and the girls! And yes he is saying about him missing out on feeding. Never mind the fact he only ever does a few feeds a week anyway!! Never mind, i`ve put the idea in his head so will see what happens! xx
