Hello ladies,
Can anyone recommend any nice decaf tea bags? I've been told by the midwife that I need to cut right back on my caffeine intake due to my previous mc's. I've been drinking decaf coffee but I can't drink much of it as it makes me feel a bit icky. I've tried the tetley decaf tea bags and they were disgusting and tasted nothing like tea.

Can't help Emsbet, it's Tetley decaff I've always drank and I like it
it takes a bit of getting used to though so maybe try persevere?
Other than that how about fruit teas?

I tried and tried within as it was the one they had at work but it just tasted like shrubbery to me. I know that sounds bonkers but I can't describe it any other way.
I really want tea, I have the coffee and some peppermint and also ginger and lemon tea bags but it's not the same.
Oh well it's a small sacrifice to make, and I'm sure a cup once a week would be ok

I buy Asda own brand, i think they are £1.80 for 80 or 2 boxes for £2.50 atm. I can't tell a difference. DH still insists on having ordinary asda tea bags in the house and sometimes i sneak a decaf one in to see if he can tell the difference, which he can't! So may be worth giving them a try x0 -

Thanks for the tip, I'll give them a go.

Congratulations on (not so) little Alfie Stacey!
For anyone who has been stocking up on the Huggies newborn kits at Asda for £1 (£3 - the £2 off voucher inside the previous pack) we think we found another good deal. There is a little swimmers first swim kit also by huggies, also £3 in Asda, so £1 when using the little swimmers discount voucher. Inside this pack are 6 size 2 swimming nappies, but also a hooded baby towel. I think £1 is worth it for the towel alone as usually they seem to be about £9 for a pack of two. Don't know if there are any vouchers inside this box though as DH hasn't brought them home yet.
Wow that must have been a real shock svjenni! Congratulations a real blessing but good luck at the same time!
Apparently you can make your own decaf tea bags by using a normal one and then if you reuse it in a second cuppa the second one is decaf - handy if you're making someone else a cup at the same time and very MSE

Thanks Kelda, I've been very keen on the Hauck Winnie the Pooh Doodle travel system which is on sale at £180 in Toys r Us. Although I'm convinced I'm having a boy, I'd rather it was a surprise so I don't actually know what I'm having and I thought the blue/navy combo was a bit too boyish if I actually have a girl so I found the exact same thing (it's a Hauck Shopper 11 SND travel system) in sand colour on Kiddicare for £99.99! Perfect for a boy or girl, so I've just ordered it - will let you all know how I get on.....Overpay Mortgage by £9,100 in 2013 - £9,316.16/£9,100
