  • Hi everyone, congrats to Gilly, Redhead and anyone I've missed who's had their babies - there was too many pages and I'm still knackered lol. I tried but couldn't get pics posted on here so can someone send me the facebook link to post to?

My little baby Alfie was born on 31st January weighing a whopping 10lbs 3 ounces (That was a shock lol)
He is soooo adorable and worth the whole 15 hours (though it felt longer) of labour. It was a ventouse delivery in the end and I've only come out of hospital today so thought I'd quickly pop on but I'll write a full labour story tommorow or Monday. Hope you're all well and thanks for all the well wishes.

Aw lovely name Stacey, well done! x

Dinah93 I wondered this about Fairy non-bio too, we use Aldi non-bio liquid and it's the only thing that doesn't bring me out in a rash so I'd like to stick with it for baby too, would be interested to hear from those in the know!

Tip off for anyone looking for mat wear, I was in H&M today, they have really unusual baby clothes too, very cute, got two cardis for me for £7 from £24.99 and a jumper dress for £9 from £29.99, really pleased with my little haul! I also tried some feeding tops, didn't get them yet but might go back, they have a crossover front and false cami inner, really nice colours.

I think Fairy has just got a lovely fragrance. I personally just use Tesco non bio liquid detergent, and Comfort Pure non bio fabric softner. Or any non bio liquid detergent that's on special.

I've not tried Fairy yet, but I'm amazed at how well Persil small and mighty removes yellow poo if you get it in the wash quick enough (thanks Pampers for giving me lots of practice!). :D

Fairy was on a special offer shelf in Sainsburys today, I didn't go over to look at the prices though.
