hey Gilly, thanks for the post re cloth nappies - which ones did you buy in the end? I have persuaded OH to use them and pretty much decided on Little Lambs bamboo ones but would be interested to hear what other people recommend? Thanks! x

I don't think red is too girly. We dressed Lincoln in red and I don't think he looked too girly.

We are going to dress Mini_Cub in a similar style but hopefully green. I have seen a couple of options now.

SM glad your midwife appt went well I had questions too, but forgot them all once I got there. I'm writing them down for my GP appt on Monday so I don't again.
Ikkle red is great for boys I think. My nephew's fav colour is red too.
Blue is my fav colour so my little boy will dressed a lot in blue, I also wear a lot of blue and have blue crutches
I'm resisting the urge to look at all your links for baby clothes. We've literally got loads and I dont want to be tempted my cousin is home and kids manager at Next so I'm hoping she'll find me some lovely little things
Student Mrs I looked at that blanket tho, it's beautiful. If I ever pass a matalan I'll look for one.
On another note I ordered the beautiful spotty changing bag from Next, black and white one. Will be delivered into store next week
Missmonkeymoo the thing is with the house is I'm not really able to tackle it alone. But OH is extremely capable with decoratin and DIY. He really hates paying other people to do jobs he can do himself, I think as he is a perfectionist too he worries others won't do it as well. He works long days and and works half days Saturday too so he's not much time really. He's talking of trying to get a few days off so at least we can do the nursery. I keep stripping a bit of paint everything I go up the stairs so it's looking rough lol.

I thought we'd chosen a name, we agreed on a first and middle name, but now OH isn't sure again. It's down to two really. I guess we'll see what he looks like when he pops out. People keep asking me if we've chosen. Tbh I don't want to start sharing it yet so I say no.

I went to pick up my sewing machine so hopefully will get to play over the weekend yay!

btw I hate the whole blue and pink thing.

Joshua is a totally metrosexual baby and has worn every colour of the rainbow (often all at once!)
