sexymouse what did you get from Next x
I didn't buy anything (much to the sales assistant's annoyance I think - she was really trying to pressure sell, and we've said we'll get my sister to buy them for us as a present), but we liked the 3 pack of bodysuits that I linked to in my previous post with the coloured elephants, stripes and dots. We think the elephant one will be a cute one for birth pictures as it's not the standard blue, white or yellow sleepsuit, but at £14 we think they're a bit pricey so may wait until nearer the time as apparently it's an old line (think the sales assistant realised she'd done the wrong thing telling us that as I automatically asked if they'd be in the sale then)
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

LittleMissGiggle, someone brought up inductions at my antenatal class last week and the lady who runs the class said they can't force you to have an induction, but they might make you go in daily so they can test the amniotic fluid and something else (sorry can't remember what) so they can monitor everything.0

Rups I get my husband to do it as I can't bend over either. Last time I came home from work I found he'd brough the pressure washer in to do it! It did make everything come up nice and shiny, but also took out some of the old grout from between the tiles.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Yeah they are nice, Ive finally found some nice non white, non cream sleepsuits for my hospital bag, they were from Asda, 2 for £5 but aren't showing on the website, one is turquious and the other is white with turquoise trim and lots of little monsters on.
We've got a few cute bits from Next, only a couple of sleepsuits though (the I heart grandma, and I heart grandad one as well as a twinpack one of blue ones) majority of stuff is outfit based that we bought but from the reduced bit online. xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Afternoon ladies. Well rubbish nights sleep last night. You would think us pregnant ladies would be given a bit of a break in terms of letting us sleep lots now seeing as soon we wont get any sleep.
Started the stockpiling yesterday - wee trip to Makros for toilet paper, bottled water (I know that tap is perfectly fine but I've not drank tap water since I was 16!), washing powder for baby girl, frozen diced chicken for the DH lunches, and a whole lot of other bits.
They did have the microwave tommee tippee steriliser for £10 in there if anyone lives near one and is a member. Think you can join if you work for the NHS if you dont have your own business.
I've decided it really pays to shop around. I bought the TT ear thermometer in Asda last month for £10 which at the time I was a bit like 'oh is that a good price' only to find it in Boots yesterday for £36:eek:. Had a look around and that seems the normal price.
DH says we need to do the hospital bag this weekend so I was wondering is there any real difference between the likes of sanitery towels such as Always and the ones Boots sell for after the labour (cannot remember what they were called but they were with the paper pants).
With regards to labour what do you wear (sorry if this is a stupid question)? I know it will depend on whether you are having a water birth or not but what sort of things should I be thinking about wearing. At the minute I haven't done a birth plan so havent really decided what I fancy - waiting till after the next antenatal class to make some kind of decision.
Does anyone have the Baby K changing bag from mothercare? I kind of like the look of it especially the zipped compartment at the bottom for wet bits but dont know if it is big enough. I have the boots one already which I think will be way too small so not sure what to do.
Just wondering if anyone is having difficulties thinking of names? My DH and I cant decide on four never mind one :rotfl:
At the minute we have a long list and we've not even finished that. We do, however, go through the list and cross off a lot of names but end up with not a lot. Why is it so hard.........
Hope your all having a good day and enjoying the sun, although I must admit I did keep thinking what are you on about its wet and windy.0 -
Cute sleepsuits SM. I really like these and these, I love red and white stripes
but DH says I can't buy any as people will buy stuff for us. I may have to persuade him that we need to buy a going home outfit and a first outfit.
