  • Thanks girls, i shall have a look and see what i can find on the other threads. SavageHK, my dates are spot on from TTC i know exactly when i ovulated, adjusted the EDD for my shorter cycle and my scan dates amazingly agree with my dates so from that point of view we're safe to say the dates are right. I know its a week away and there's plenty of time for LO to come before induction would be likely to take place but I just dont want to be induced. its the whole casacade of interventions thing, but then would i want to risk my baby at this late stage? aaaah i dont know, i guess i dont need to decide yet as it may not come to it but i think i need to at least have an idea of what I would like to do if i'm still here next week!!

Thanks for the comments ladies, hope you are all well and smiling!

sexymouse what did you get from Next x

I didn't buy anything (much to the sales assistant's annoyance I think - she was really trying to pressure sell, and we've said we'll get my sister to buy them for us as a present), but we liked the 3 pack of bodysuits that I linked to in my previous post with the coloured elephants, stripes and dots. We think the elephant one will be a cute one for birth pictures as it's not the standard blue, white or yellow sleepsuit, but at £14 we think they're a bit pricey so may wait until nearer the time as apparently it's an old line (think the sales assistant realised she'd done the wrong thing telling us that as I automatically asked if they'd be in the sale then :p)
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

LittleMissGiggle, someone brought up inductions at my antenatal class last week and the lady who runs the class said they can't force you to have an induction, but they might make you go in daily so they can test the amniotic fluid and something else (sorry can't remember what) so they can monitor everything.

Rups I get my husband to do it as I can't bend over either. Last time I came home from work I found he'd brough the pressure washer in to do it! It did make everything come up nice and shiny, but also took out some of the old grout from between the tiles. :o

Yeah they are nice, Ive finally found some nice non white, non cream sleepsuits for my hospital bag, they were from Asda, 2 for £5 but aren't showing on the website, one is turquious and the other is white with turquoise trim and lots of little monsters on.

We've got a few cute bits from Next, only a couple of sleepsuits though (the I heart grandma, and I heart grandad one as well as a twinpack one of blue ones) majority of stuff is outfit based that we bought but from the reduced bit online. x
