ah its nice when you have that support. I can say at first we both were dealing with it in our own way but he def has been very supportful esp now where i havent been able to do much, and he has been very good in cooking etc. i come across harsh to him but he has beenvery supportful. he doesnt show as much emotion like i do but we are all different hey? :)

yes saving for a place isnt easy. we had to start when we were dating and we knew we were quite serious about stuff. he didnt have debts like me and he works in the finance world so his but helped. i contributed what i can. it isnt easy. our house needs work - lots of it but thats costs so we taking it slowly.

  • Hey Vic welcome to the thread! Sorry to hear that you have not had the easiest of times recently but hopefully you can move forward now! I know it's not easy having to save for a mortage these days, but at least you have got great family support around you.

Rups there is no need to go posting fab bargain buys like that when its payday tomorrow! I have already pledged not to buy any more maternity stuff and then you go and do that to me! Lol!

  • Nosey parker! Lol, I have that here too Rups! trying to concentrate on work but it is one of those days today! *sigh*

I have a question or you lovely ladies, whee are you getting your cot bedding from? I know baby won't need quilt/duvet for ages, but what about blankets and sheets and those kind of things? I have had a quick look round, but if anyone has some great MSE tips for this that would be brilliant!

Divorcingjack - meant to ask - you said that there was talk of a 20% babies r us voucher coming up on the HDUK forum? Is that Hot deals uk? I had a quick look on that site but couldn't see a forum bit (perhaps I didn't look properly!) but I could really do with a 20% off voucher for there too!

Hiya, sorry for the confusion - I don't think there is a current one, but I saw some expired ones on there, so if you can hang about, another one is bound to pop up at some point in the future.

I just put in the name of what I'm after (retailer or item) into the search box and anything good pops up.

  • Just in case anyone is looking for basic sleepsuits, tesco has a sale on tonight where they are doing 3 white ones for £3 instead of the normal £7. Newborn up to 11lbs still in stock as of about 3 minutes ago :D

Free click and collect and free returns. I just picked up a couple of packs as had been procrastinating.

    HTH, dj x

Rups - enjoy the tapas! I love it and meeting new people is always fun :)
