Had my second NCT class (ladies only) today. Was great, the other girls are so nice, can really see us keeping in touch. Went for lunch afterwards and had a really yummy chicken ravioli in Prezzo's.

My sickness bug has subsided but I still feel really weak where I haven't eaten properly over the last few days. The heat today and I had to do a bit of walking definitely didn't help.

I found that kneeling pad I was on about earlier, here it is if it helps anyone. I have ordered it:

Congrats on passing your exam RJH!

rjn - congrats on passing your exams!

rups - well done on your driving test :) i am still swimming, 50 lengths a week combination of front crawl, back crawl and just sculling. i dont do breast stroke as have knee problems.

actually had the first proper cry of my pregnancy today (at 35 weeks) got a call from GP to say my iron levels are still low, after taking supplements for 6 weeks they have not increased at all!! i find it frustrating and worrying, have visions of baby coming early because of low iron count or having to go in for a transfusion. anyway i have a midwife appointment tomorrow so i will discuss things with her.

had a crappy day as well so i think the above was the last straw. just feeling really tired, bad back and nausea - it want much fun being at work today and i wished i had gone home but i feel guilty:o

i have my daisy birthing class later so hope this puts me in a more positive mood.

  • Yay! Congrats RJH :j well done you must be so chuffed! Now you can enjoy your break (aren't you going away or a few days?)

That is a lovely necklace Ikkle entering comps might be something to do whist I'm sitting here. Used to do loads years ago.

LM as fluff said theyre prob the most important exercises lol. Would sitting on a ball be too much do you think? Not that I've even pumped mine up yet!

Rups I find (slow) crawl best. Breast stroke tends to pull on my back and belly, it wasn't recommended for me years ago due to joint and back probs anyway, but I tried it whilst at the spa last month and didn't feel right. Not sure what others have found? Or back stroke is ok for me.

Phew part two of cooking completed and just parked my bum. OH has appeared through the door now so up I get again to put the potatoes on.

That's the NCT for you. If you just go to the NHS ones, you end up sharing a fag afterwards or, if you've not spanked all your giro, going for a burger in McDonalds :D

Lol Kitten I love winning baby things too, the Noah's Ark we won last week is about 15cm long but it matches so well with the way we've decorated the babies room that it made my day :)

I've also been accepted as part of the Practical Parenting and Pregnancy Testing panel to test a minimum of 6 products for them for their awards that they do in the magazine, so I'm looking forward to seeing what I get. :)

Fab wins, Noah''s Ark sounds lovely (Pic?)

My baby wins so far are a breast pump, night soother, teething necklace, star balm, bottles and breast aid.

Not too bad, would definitely recommend it if you have the time.

I only went along to one NHS class only because the ones I paid for clashed. Despite it being in Lewisham I was pleasantly surprised by all the 'normal' ladies there. Although there were hardly any men.

We've won a pushchair, an outfit, a bottle, some baby wipes, a pack of nappies, a sleeping bag, the ark and then the necklace for me :)

Well done on your win ikkle! I must say I have been admiring your sig, lots of lovely goodies!

I have been comping for 4/5 years and love it. Entering loads of baby comps. So far have won baby show tickets, a xylophone (have put away for baby's xmas present!), a Flexibath and some Itti Bitti reuseable nappies.

Well done on your goodies too Kitten. Lots of useful bits!

    Oh, and congrats RJH!
