Evening all!
Congratulations to rups on passing your theory test. At least that's one hurdle out of the way.
Congratulations to rj for passing your course - just shows all of that hard work paid off.
Nice to see you posting LittleMissGiggles - can't believe your due date has come and gone already - mind you, I can't believe I'm 27 + 1 today either! Won't be long until you meet your little one now. x
Hugs for the stretch mark bellola - the school I was in today had a well-lit disabled toilet for their staff toilet, so I had a good look at my bump in the mirror today to check for any signs - so far so good, but still keeping my fingers crossed.
Well my sore throat that I thought was from shouting at a particularly tough class last Tuesday hasn't gone, and has turned into an annoying phlemy cold and cough, which is making my bump and back hurt - are there any throat sweets etc that anyone knows of that are safe in pregnancy as using my voice all the time, I could do with lubricating my throat?
Nice easy morning in terms of work tomorrow, and hopefully not a lot of marking involved - I stayed later today to get the photocopying done and also to work out the answers to the maths lesson tomorrow so that we can mark them as a class.
Next midwife appointment on Friday (28 week one), and not looking forward to the blood tests, although it was put into perspective for me today as a little girl came back to school after some time off, and she's been diagnosed as diabetic at 7, so has to inject herself daily and test her blood sugars - she's been really brave about it all poor thing and her older brother (10 has it too).
Hugs for those who need or want them, and labour vibes where appropriate.
I'm off for a shower before I lose the energy to dry my hair afterwards - suddenly feeling very tired!
Night all,

That is a lovely necklace Ikkle entering comps might be something to do whist I'm sitting here. Used to do loads years ago.
LM as fluff said theyre prob the most important exercises lol. Would sitting on a ball be too much do you think? Not that I've even pumped mine up yet!
Rups I find (slow) crawl best. Breast stroke tends to pull on my back and belly, it wasn't recommended for me years ago due to joint and back probs anyway, but I tried it whilst at the spa last month and didn't feel right. Not sure what others have found? Or back stroke is ok for me.
Phew part two of cooking completed and just parked my bum. OH has appeared through the door now so up I get again to put the potatoes on.
Possibly. I shall have a go.Little Miss you should hun, I only enter the ones on this forum and I only started this month. My wins except the necklace are in my signature and the iron is worth over £200!
I love comping. It keeps me occupied when I'm too ill to do much else. I've had some lovely wins. Been comping for a year and a half now and love it. I really want to win an iPad. DH was going to give me some money towards one for my birthday last year but then we got offered a flat so I thought it was responsible to spend the money on the flat rather than an iPad. He got me a Kindle instead.

Halls Soothers - the ones where the man used to snog her neck in the advert. xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

As I stood up earlier, OH said to me, 'babe, you've got a big wet patch on the back of your skirt, have your waters broke?'
Cue me panicking and checking my knickers as I remembered midwife saying they don't always gush they can trickle! Knickers were fine, just turned out I'd dropped an ice cube and had sat on it!!
This made me giggle
Thank you MissMonkeyMoo but we need something with bigger wheels so we can go off road... thank you to anyone else I might have missed too
Welcome LMG.
Congratulations RJH, Rups and Ikkle!
I'm off to sign up for which and investigate all the recommendations. Thank you all! Laters!:jBaby girl born 3rd October 2012:j0 -

I've been doing it on and off for a couple of years now, sometimes I take a break for a week or even a few months. Have had some fab wins too in that time and thats why I decided to give it another shot while I'm off work and I'm glad I did nowMy best prize was a weekend for 2 at Champneys with treatments and travel, I took my nan and she loved it

Aw, that's lovely!
I had about a months break during my first trimester because I just couldn't be bothered to do anything. Then I saw how many comps I had to catch up on and was like , so I said to myself that I wouldn't get behind like that again!
My biggest win was Sky+HD with Sky World package for 12 months! It comes in very handy for DH because he's a movie buff and has a movie review blog so he can record movies to review.:D2019 Wins

congratulations on your passes rjh and rups :T
well done ikkle. I fell in love with your Noah's ark.
I'm sooo jealous of you comping and winning ladies. I entered a whole load of comps about two years ago (I mean like 200 or something, through MSE) and haven't won anything so got really disheartened and never entered any comps again. Maybe now that I'm off I should give it another go.0
