I think it's not essential to still take vitamins and folic acid Rups but I'm still taking my pregnancy multivitamin, which has folic acid in. I take Tesco's own pregnancy multivitamin. They have the same as pregnacare I think but are cheaper and Tesco often have them on 3 for 2.

I took myself off to midwife today as I didn't go to Uni due to car being broken and no point going to see her at 34 weeks when I seeing consultant then too so went today at 32 weeks.

She said I'm a bit anaemic and to start taking iron tablets. Se also confirmed what I suspected anyway that baby is breech. Imnot too uncomfortable tho. Just don't appreciate the feet kicking my cervix lol. See consultant mid July so will see what they say. I presume if I'm breech I can't e under midwife care? Anyone know?

Hi,

I've been trying to keep up but this thread moves so fast! I never got around to being added to the list, so hope it's not too late? My EDD is August 30th but I have a feeling it's more likely to be around a week later and that my baby is just MASSIVE... eek.

We are going for a surprise but have a v strong feeling it's a boy... mindyou for the first three months or so I was convinced it was a girl so who knows!

Hope everyone is well. Bump is really really hard today and kicks out if I try and bend over or squash it even a little bit. Grumpy bump!

I got a lovely red and white stripey maternity swimsuit from Matalan, it was only £14

If you like leggings I got these from eBay. They are calf length so maybe not too good in this weather but they are a lovely fit

Also my favourite pair of maternity jeans are from Adsa, they were really cheap so they might be worth a look.

thanks for the ideas hon. i will def go to Asda for jeans as mine are so tight now and all i wear are leggings or skirts and dresses with tights to work. need nice comfy stuff as everything is squeezing me. wanted to wait till today to go out shopping. yay!!!

My one tip would be don't buy too much, especially trousers/jeans as you will find different styles/sizes fit better through out your pregnancy. At the beginning I was more comfortable in under bump stuff but now I find the over bump ones better. I also have put on some weight around my bum and thighs so some of the things I bought no longer fit properly.

Afternoon all,

I have embraced the afternoon nap with enthusiasm and feel MUCH better now. Good enough to venture into the world of paint cards so we can paint our front door - I say "we" but I obviously mean OH.

I'm so glad we have MSE, I was googling about front door colours (I know), and am very very scared by how much the women on mumsnet know about Farrow and Ball colours. Really, it's worrying that anyone cares that much about shades of blue/green/gray :eek:
