I got a lovely red and white stripey maternity swimsuit from Matalan, it was only £14
If you like leggings I got these from eBay. They are calf length so maybe not too good in this weather but they are a lovely fit
Also my favourite pair of maternity jeans are from Adsa, they were really cheap so they might be worth a look.
xx
I got the swimsuit too, wish I'd bought the navy one too when it was available. Very comfy and plenty room to grow too.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0 -
Well done Kitten! I was eyeing up my skirting board earlier thinking it needs to be cleaned but I just think if I got down on my hands and knees I'll be stuck until OH gets in from work at 10pm.....Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference0

Afternoon all!
Well for those who are friends on facebook my afternoon has been blighted by a supermarket who I will name sainsCRAP. First attempt at their online shopping included green furry salami (I mean !!!!!!?), bashed tins, rotten tomatoes and squidgy cucumber    have phoned and emailed, but after each I found more crap more  so that got my BP up somewhat. Now in bed catching up and eating a wispa gold
Welcome to the newbies!
candlewax if I remember rightly the last square for the urine dip is nitrates which can be an indication of infection. If you're not feeling too unwell I would just wait until the results are back as normally a week of antibiotics will fix you up.
Rups I think new look also do these bump bands three for a tenner. Although I don't have any quite a few people have mentioned them to me. Got lovely over bump jeans from asda and nice summery dress from new look, although not had chance to wear a couple of them yetebay is also great. If they don't fit well you can just resell them.
Thank you for all the cot suggestions, will show to OH later. Missmonkeymoo I just couldn't ask MIL to spend that much, I wish OH would have words and get some idea. I mean I doubt she knows how much cots can cost now. It's her first grandchild and OH is an only child. Maybe we can go shopping with her then she can see what's about.shell_girl I've added you to the list. That should make LMM and sa-ra-ra-ra happy as they've been bumped down a place
Glad your appt went well Jedi
Milliebob that did make me laugh, I hope you've managed to wrestle your Welles now
OH has promised to cook tea tonight. To be fair it's stir fry with a pre chopped bag of veg, but still I think I think he's realised I'm a mess bless him. wish he'd hurry and get home, I'm getting peckish.
Hugs to everyone that needs them xx:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j

Evening all,
Just finished my first full week of full days teaching for the first time in the pregnancy, and the first time in almost a whole school year (supply had got very slow)! I'm not feeling too bad, considering I was also babysitting on Wednesday night until 10.40pm (was very tired that night, and was asleep by just gone 9pm last night to make up for it). Bean has also been kicking more in the last couple of days, so I'm relieved as I was contemplating a doctor's appointment to check all was ok as he'd been a lot quieter than normal. I suppose his growth spurt must have worn him out a bit, as my bump has definitely got bigger in the last week (my Dad even noticed a difference).
Congratulations to ladylegs on the birth of Joel - been teaching a nice Joel today - his whole family are sweet too - I used to teach his older brother (Jonty). Sorry to hear the birth was traumatic though.
Welcome to colli, rups, MrsBryan and a few other people who've joined the thread in the last couple of days - I recognise some of you from the ttc thread or the less than 12 weeks thread - well done for being brave and taking the plunge onto this one - I joined quite early, and it's great on here.
Think Bean is definitely putting more pressure on my bladder at the moment, as the need to go to the loo frequently has now returned. I also have a very bruised-feeling lower left rib, so think he may have kicked it hard at some point. On the plus side though, my heartburn still seems to be under control now I'm on the 40mg of omeprazole, so I can now eat most things without worrying about feeling awful afterwards (this may also explain the bump gain lol). 27 weeks on Sunday - can't believe where the time is going - will be no time at all before I'm in that third trimester!
Moon and I looked online this morning at the furniture we'd been considering for the baby's/spare room, and it's not available for 14-16 weeks! Not sure what we're going to do now, as I want it all in before the baby arrives so I can put everything away. Back to the drawing board.
Well hugs for anyone who needs or wants them, get well wishes where needed, and labour vibes for all who want them.

Im in really bad form tonight. Tears galore. My other half is really upsetting me/ annoying me. Obv we found out baby breech today and I know at 32 weeks he does still have time to turn but just in case I look at the options. I want to chat with him the options eg ecv but he won't even entertain my discussions at all cos he says we don't need to worry about it. I know and I'm not worrying I just want to be armed with the info for my next appointment at 35 weeks and know what my head is thinking re questions.
Anyway after spending three hours looking at info on breech stuff I decided if he is still breech I don't want the ecv - I gonna try natural things and if it doesn't work book in for section
I just feel so alone because if something happens we need to be prepare and he won't even look at any information. Am I wron to be upset?love you lots like jelly tots0 -
I don't think you're wrong to be upset rj, or wrong to feel the need to prepare for it. I think it's just the way that some men deal with things - they try not to think about it until the last minute as a way of protecting themselves from getting upset in an attempt to stay strong for us. Moon is always telling me I worry about things too much and to wait and see what happens - I'm a natural worrier that goes with my control-freak nature, so like to be prepared for any eventuality (hence why I also wanted to find out the sex). Big hugs for you, and fingers crossed that baby turns for you.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170
