From the other side of things, if the worst were to happen it would be another memory to keep, which when it is all you have you appreciate.

I've got a Father-to-be card with our 12 week scan picture on, from funky pidgeon. It's this one. I'm using it as an anniversary card though, as it's our 6th wedding anniversary on Sunday
He didn't do anything for me on Mother's day (I don't think it even occurred to him)

I just got an email from work asking if it's just the fact I can't drive stopping me coming to work or the fact I've been signed off. I feel all a tiss now.
I'm going to the doctors tomorrow to get a sick note anyway (like the GP suggested). Not really sure how I feel, I feel like I'm being accused of being a fraud a bit. I'm sure I'm just being paranoid though.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Twinklie I know how horrible an email like that can be. At least it was an email and not a phone call putting you on the spot.

They can't phone me...my home and mobile phones have both broken!!! Ha ha ha. They both died on me yesterday within an hour of each other.
Apparently they appear to have sorted out my maternity leave (all a bit hush hush), so I'm wondering if they are wondering whether this chap can start now or not. I've told them I'm telling them what I know and I know nothing. I just know I'm not meant to be at work. I'll go to the consultants tomorrow and then pop by my GP's to request a sick note. I've had my 5 days of self cert now anyway.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

As long as you are keeping them up to date (whether that is telling them nothing because you know nothing) then you are in the right and I wouldn't worry. (easier said than done)Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

For the past few days I've been having a sharp stabbing pain but it's hard to explain where it is. Kind of like at the bottom of your groin where the bikini line is? Almost where the bladder would be? See, hard to describe! lol. I also have a very painful lower back but I don't know if both together are normal or not. It's so bad that I can't stand up properly (well I can't anyway but this is in a different way, if that makes sense?) and it's worse when I go to the toilet but I have no burning or anything so don't think it's a UTI.
Not sure if it's normal or not. =/2019 Wins

Lady M, I have had a similar pains which have been stretching etc however if you are worried as always call the midwife. UTI's can show themselves in different ways, I have had a couple but no pain on peeing or anything that made me think I had one.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500
