i bought a big space hopper and it felt better as i had the little 'ears' to hold on to as i bounced round the room
Oi! The birthing space hoppers was MY idea! I'm going to get rich on it one day! (They double up as a handy, safe weapon to belt annoying husbands over the head with while in labour)Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
This site is adorable! Upload a picture of you and your other half and it morphs them to show you what your baby will look like. I've just done a little boy and a little girl and they're both so lovely, I'm now even more desperate to meet my baby

Chrissy you will find if you are like me that you sit on and just move with your body. I bounce but get bored of that quick tbh! Sit and rock from side to side, front to back, round in circles on the left and then the right and sit with legs wide open and stretch from side to side and back to stretch my legs out. And the other thing is getting on my hands and knees and lean on it and rock in circles and back to front - side to side etc. Just make it up! I do0 -

after a bit of feedback here from mums who have had sections AND normal births.
i had 2 very quick, uncomplicated, drug free births (1st was 90 mins, 2nd was 17 mins, start to finish) my 3rd i had a section due to going 2 weeks over then realising baby was breech. i'm on number 4 now and have the option for a section or Vbac and i dont know what i'm gonna do.
the section last time was ok, yes i was uncomfortable for a week or so, but no more than i was having a 9lb 10 baby by normal birth,
i also have gone all the way overdue with my last two babies and as i tend to have little chunks i end up deperately uncomfortable in the latter stages of pregnancy.
a section would be easier as i know exactly when baby will arrive, i wouldnt go over, other kids would be at school so no worrying about getting them to relatives if my waters went in the middle of the night ect, and i want steralizing too, but i'd probably be up an out of hospital 6 hours after a normal birth, all being well.
i really am in two minds what to do. i have been offered a section as there will be only 13 months between this baby and my last (who was born by section) and drs said as i have large babies it could affect my scar if i did want to pop him out
any thoughts?Skint, but happy (ish):p0 -

Twinkle can't advise either way but from your post it sounds like you are leading towards a c-section anyway.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Considering doing something.
Last year I got him a card from the bump and this year I have a plain card which I will probably write something in. He is a father just his children aren't with him. (yet)
