Afternoon ladies
Back at work after a hectic week and a bit off, and I feel like I've not had a breakI'm exhausted at the moment, think maybe the baby is having a growth spurt or something. I just can't sleep enough!
Lots of weird stretchy pains today, radiating out from pubic bone and around hips. Really hope this isn't the start of SPD, 2 of my sisters have had it and suffered really badlyLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Mishka, my GTT test was surprisingly ok! Sounds the same as yours. Went straight in, had a blood test, drunk the glucose drink, waited an hour had another blood test then waited another hour and had another blood test. The only thing I hated was I wasn't allowed anything to drink in between, not even water as it could affect the readings. And the hanging around at the hospital but it was only for 2 hours, sounds worse than what it was.
Make sure you take some magazines or a book!
I got a large Big Mac meal as soon as I came outx
Funny how different hospitals do it differently, I was told I should drink water in between blood tests!£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013

Just got back from midwife - saw a different one this time and she couldn't do the sweep either! Cervix is still too high, so I've got to back on Thursday for another go!
Baby's not quite in position yet, it's head down but laying on it's side so I have to sit more forward to try and get it to roll over!
Anyway if nothing happens after the sweep on Thursday, I've been booked in for an induction next Tuesday, but I kind of hoping it won't come to that and I can't think of anything worse!£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013

Hi Ladies and Gents!
I was on hols last week with no internet or phone (bliss!) and have spent the last couple of days catching up with the thread.
Welcome to any newbies!
Congrats to the births!
I am so busy at work right now but I am suffering from severe baby brain too. It is really pants. 4 weeks and one more day to go! I just can't wait.
I have been reading through CVs today for my replacement. Gosh it feels so weird. We will start interviews next week and hopefully get them in for 1.5 - 2 weeks handover.
I am feeling so knackered at the moment (32+3) the tiredness seems to have come on in the last week. It's horrible.
Stupid me thought that it would be a good idea to offer myself for work this weekend at my second job. (only 3 hours sat and 3 on sun)
So I have no weekend in sight until next week. I'm also working Thurs evening at a clinic for 2 hours after work.
On saturday my mum is bringing my grandma to my house to check out the nursery after I finish work so I need to make sure the place is spick and span before they show up. How am I gonna do it?
What a plonker!
What plonky things have you done lately?0 -
Apologies to everyone still due in June, but my wife is about to be induced... 37 weeks today...
Can't believe it's happening...
Labour vibes to anyone we're queue-jumping!!!Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...0 -
