Awww Jovi, what a little cutie! Having 2 gorgeous girls I am somewhat underwhelmed at the thought of a boy this time, but seeing your teeny one was the first time I've actually maybe wanted one and thought; hmmm, maybe a boy could be cute too........ So thank you for that :)

    And good luck WW2BR!

Ahh jovi - Max is so cute! Just showed Moon and he said, "Ahh" too. :)

Hope all has gone well with the induction and you're having Daddy cuddles now whowants2brich.

Glad all went well with your scan today fluffnutter. I read the other day that a baby is not technically classified as a big baby until they are 9lb9oz!

Hugs to twinklie and Rebekah - hope you're both feeling a bit better this evening.

Wow how exciting and scary all at the same time BB - nothing like late notice hey? lol Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Spent the morning looking at a nursing home again with my Mum and Dad, and hopefully we've found "the one". We're just waiting to hear back tomorrow morning whether we get the room we want as there was someone ahead of us in the queue who was interested in the same room and meant to be calling today. They are being given until 10am tomorrow and if they haven't called by then, the room is ours. :) Will be good to know that my Nana is in a home that provides proper care (not like the one she's in at the moment).

When we got back to my M&D's house, my Mum asked if the baby was moving. I told her he was, and where it was, and she felt him kick for the first time. She was so excited and gave me a big hug. She told my Dad to put his hand on there and he felt Bean kick too, and he had a huge smile on his face. :) They've finally decided on what they'd like to be called - my Dad has gone for the traditional Grandad, and my Mum has decided to go for Nanny. So Bean will have a Nanny and Grandad on my side, and a Nanny (followed by her shortened name - it's what we call her anyway for our cat, and she likes it) on Moon's side. It's nice to know what they'll all be called, and I think it's helping my Dad get more used to the idea of being a grandparent - he's still a bit resistant, insisting he's too young still (he's 61 in August so not that young).

Well we've just had a yummy dinner that I bought at MrA on my way home from work - we were meant to be going out for an early Father's Day meal, but the pub called today to say they were flooded and had to cancel as they'd be closed until further notice. It was meant to be a Greek evening, so I bought some pesto-topped houmous (reduced to 24p), some seeded pitta breads (reduced to 44p), and two vegetable moussakas - £1 each, which we had with salad (already in the house) followed by leftover treacle tart with cream. :) My Dad is going to have a think over the next day or so, and decide where he'd like to go instead, so hope he chooses somewhere they have something I can eat too.

Off to doctor tomorrow morning re the heartburn, so hoping there is something they can do, as I take my Gaviscon at lunch, and an hour later, it's back again! If I drink water, it comes back, and if I dare to eat even as much as a biscuit, it comes back too - I'm therefore in the situation I was with my morning sickness, in that I'm dreading eating or drinking anything, which is obviously not good as I can get dehydrated and Bean won't be getting enough nutrients. Midwife told me I should see the doctor when I saw her on Friday, so I booked an appointment whilst I was there.

Work has been cancelled tomorrow avo cos the course the teacher was going on was cancelled at the last minute (I suspect the floods may have something to do with it). I'm hoping I get full days on Thursday and Friday as I believe this is my qualifying week for maternity pay, so want to earn enough.

Well I'm off to go and watch Holby now.

Hugs to all who need or want them,

    sexymouse xx

Congratulations Jovi what a little darling!

Wow BB  this is becoming much more real now!!

    Good luck WW2BR & Kelda :D

Had the health visitor round today who was lovely and very helpful though I couldn't help laughing at her knitted boob when she whipped it out her bag!! She gave me some good information about breast feeding and now I feel more confident about 'what to do' though the real test is when baby is finally here.

Ahh twinklie and Rebekah I feel the same though couldn't find any cake to cheer me up so a huge bowl of ice cream just had to do!:rotfl:

I have physio tomorrow. It normally takes me 20 minutes to get there. However, tomorrow I'm going to take 2 hours all because I can't drive! :( And it's 2 hours back. Part of me is just thinking, !!!!!! it, I'll cancel. But I've nothing better to do so I may as well.
