Mrs manda. I broached te subject with my tutors a couple of
Months ago re toilet breaks and was told if I went to toilet clock would continue as it wouldn't be fair on others. The main problem for me is that the room where exams are is tiny (there are only 8 of us) is warm and toilet is a five minute waddle away so I reallycanr afford to do that. So no water drinking during exam for me. It's gonna be more sitting in a chair in one position for two hours. Chances of me being able to get off my chair afterwards are very slim lol.
Oh messages me on Facebook a couple of goes ago the idiot has now lost his phone he said if an emergency I can call him at work. I said no thank you I did fine without you last night so I'm sure I won't need you today.i also told him not to bother coming round tonight cos I lost valuable revision time worrying about him last night. MEN! He is well and truly in the dog house!!!love you lots like jelly tots0 -

We've not got the stuff for A's room yet but im leaning towards the olive and henry range. They have an offer with a cotbed so going to get that i think. its so cute moneypuddle x
Ahh you should it looks lovely. I was leaning towwards the Jungle Fun theme but then changed my mind at the last minute and went for Olive and Henri instead and it does look great!
Their 20% is until Tuesday and you can still get the 20% off multideals so it would be a good time to get it today or tomorrow for maximum discount!0 -
RJH I hope your exam goes well. I had to sit my exam when I was about 10 weeks pregnant and having really bad dizzy spells and feeling sick. I made sure my tutor knew and that I could eat in the exam hall etc to help with my blood sugar. Thankfully my tutor has been really understanding and accommodating which I am so grateful for. Re: extenuating circumstances I think you can normally hand one in after the exam so that they can take into consideration your performance etc so it might be worth looking into. Good luck with it all. I'm currently having to do my dissertation for my masters just now which is a bit of a nightmare.
Made the mistake of letting baby girl listen to music before going to bed last night and all I can say is never again. Got about 4 hours sleep between her playing, the husband and cat snoring and pain in my shoulders.
I was wondering if anyone on here has made their cot bedding? I cant find anything I really want and have considered getting my mum to make me some but dont know how this would work. Any thoughts?
Also I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice regarding my cat. For the last 13 years he has been my baby (10 of those shared with the husband) and I really dont want him to 'hate' the baby when she comes due to changes we will need to make. At the minute he sleeps in our room on our bed but the DH has read that we need to lock him out when the baby comes due to the fact that she will be sleeping in the room with us - only have one bedroom just now. I know that there are some cat owners on here and I was wondering what precautions/changes you will be making if any? My cat is really sensitive and he is a mummas boy and I just want to make the transition as smoothly as possible without any major issues (yes I am a crazy cat woman)0 -
I am crazy cat lady too
(ish) We will start to kick him out of the room when we get a bit closer but last time he didn't even care about the cot. Liked to sleep under it but wasn't even interested in getting in.
We adopted him so know that he is used to change, prepared that he will hate us for a few weeks but will hopefully get over it. Discussed it with the vet and she seemed happy that he will cope.
I think he will treat baby like a cat another animal which cries when it wants to be fed and sleeps a lot.
some use feliway (sp?) to calm cats down a few weeks before baby and for a while after and it seems to work.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Just found what I think is a bit of a bargain which sadly I cant use as already ordered my car seat, but for those of you thinking about getting the maxi cosi pebble Boots have it online for £130 just now. If you go through quidco there is a 10% off code which brings the price down to £117 and you get boots points worth about £20 plus possibly 8% quidco. They also have other car seats but I'm not too sure about the prices as I came across this when looking for reviews etc on the pebble but you can still use the 10% off code.
Hope this is useful to someone.
Kitten_pie I personally think he will run a mile from the baby as he hates the noises they make - even if they are on tv. He did used to sleep in my nephews pram when he was about 2 (the cat) and allowed people to wheel him around the house. Since then he hasn't come across any prams etc so I have no idea if he will want to go into one. Think I will speak to the vet as well as he needs to have keyhole surgery in the next couple of weeks to make sure his kidneys are still working and the vet knows his 'personality' so to speak.0 -
Hi everyone, am having a well deserved rest today! We went to OH's cousin's wedding on Saturday and I'd booked Friday off work for preparation so I wouldn't end up rushing around. So what did I do? I invited my mum, auntie and uncle round for lunch so spent the whole of Friday morning rushing around cleaning and preparing lunch. Then they stayed longer than I thought they would and I ended up rushing around late afternoon getting my nails done.
I'm 30 weeks now and was dreading looking like a big fat elephant at the wedding so I came to the conclusion that if I threw enough money at myself I would look good. Spray tan, mani and pedi, hair done by the hairdresser and stupidly expensive dress. By the time I'd done full make up (including false eyelashes) and put my sparkly heels on I felt really good so it worked! Proud to say I lasted the whole day and night in my 3 inch heels and even managed some dancing! Could barely walk by the end of the night though and yesterday I was good for nothing, although ended up going pub with OH and his friends for a few hours and stopped for an Indian on the way home.
Had a big emotional cry yesterday as well. I was having a (pre-pub) nap and felt baby move so started talking to it, saying how I was looking forward to meeting it, then I realised that I'm going to be a mummy. Then I thought how amazing my mum is and how I'm never going to match up to her. That of course led on to how I'm going to be a terrible mother. Tears, tears tears. Had to call OH upstairs for a cuddle.
Today I am thinking the baby has moved position as I'm getting kicks and punches in different places. The MW had shown me how the baby was lying which made me feel closer to it, and now I don't know what way it is in there and I don't like it!
Hope everyone's doing well and enjoying the bank holiday weekend x0 -
GRIGGSY your not actually supposed to use quilts in cots with young babies, just blankets so you could just buy sheets and a few blankets xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx
