Dont know what to do with myself, im so miserable and my groin pain is horrific - poor boys dont know what happened to mummy today but she is a right mardy cow !
Just wanted to ask where others around the 24 week mark are feeling their kicks ? all of mine are just above my hairline in the centre or right in my bits so low it feels like he is poking out , i dont ever remember getting them this low for so long ! Ive not had any to the side of my belly and only on odd occasions have I had them at my belly button.
Wondering if im getting so much pain in my groin due to how he is lying ?
A lot of mine are really low down, with some occassionally at the sides, some I think are punches. The midwife on Tuesday said little man has turned from traverse so his back is on my left side and his front on my right. She said she wasn't sure if he was head up or down but judging by the activity lower down I'm pretty sure he's head up.
I don't get any on the middle of my bump but I think that's because where my placenta is.
I have also recently been getting weird sensations at the top of my bump and just under my ribs but that isn't like kicks or punches but more like wriggling around. It's very weird

Hello all!
Just logging on for the first time today.
Wow my mum has helped me put stuff on eBay. Took forever, think six hours to put 45 things on. All random stuff I don't want anymore. Just uploaded and already one bid whoo!
Welcome Nbirdy and congratsanother September boy!
MrsB happy anniversary! Hope you've had a Lovely
Turtlemoose glad you saw someone with some common sense.
SM I know we couldn't afford for me to give up work. I do five days I will probably drop to four. My sister has offered to help with child care. Her LOs are 7&8 and she owes me loads of babysitting now lol. Child Care is madly expensive
Emsbet glad you found somewhere nice for a massage, think we should get one a week on the NHSsomething to look forward to.
I've not heard of the pillows with Ikkle what do they do or they're just heart shaped? Am I being daft?
Dizzi good to hear from you, hope you and Erin are doing well.
NICE guidelines are supposed to be the basis of all healthcare policies to standardise care across the country, still not happening though. My BP diastolic is normally in the 80s. It was 70 I think on Monday and the GP said over 80 was "higher than we'd like" well it's normal for me and nobody seems bothered.
I don't understand why they admit you for high BP as the stress of it would cause it to go higher unless you like hospitals.
Raspberry leaf tea someone mentioned capsules instead of actual tea I think on here.
Hello to everyone else, sorry if I missed anyone.
Hugs to all that need them and big labour vibes to the boldies and those that are near popping.
Hope everyone gets a good night now it's cooler, extra hugs for the SPD ladies xxxx:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j

I'm getting mostly low kicks too, different to how I remember it with my previous 2. The only movement I get further up is a more general kind of slower movement, maybe a back or bum or head, not sharp like a kick or punch IYSWIM?
Mind you I have a funny feeling that this one is going to be breech, or overdue or something complicated - I'm pretty sure of it. My other 2 deliveries were quite speedy (5 hours and 3 hours) and straightforward, and I'm certain this one will be all kinds of awkward.0 -

Hi Mishka
I don't know where the placenta is? Maybe if it's on the top, too tired for technical terms, it could limit the feeling. Most of the kicking is around the belly button and lower. I'm 25 weeks today :j:j:j Getting a few kicking like feelings in my lower rib area.
Hugs for the pain, been a carpy day pain wise. I'm shuffling like an olden :-( hope you sleep well and tomorrow is a better day xxxx:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j

Mishka, I wa getting loads of very low down kicks, like you I thought a foot wa going to appear! Turned out baby was beech, with st least one foot down. Now that baby had turned, I get most kicks right out on one side, nearer my waist and ribs.
Re raspberry leaf tea, I started taking the capsules last week, only one a day until today when I took two. They taste rank so I dread to think what the tea is like!

on the topic of Raspberry leaf tea, you've been getting massive braxton hicks today after taking 2 tablets, thats what would happen when i drank the tea, loads of niggles and tightenings not long after drinkingmust be doing something then !

raspberry leaf tea won't make you go into labour any earlier, all it does is strengthen your uterus muscles, to make the second stage of labour faster, so the feelings you are getting shouldn't be anything to do with the tea/tablets xxThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0
