I'm getting mostly low kicks too, different to how I remember it with my previous 2. The only movement I get further up is a more general kind of slower movement, maybe a back or bum or head, not sharp like a kick or punch IYSWIM?

Mind you I have a funny feeling that this one is going to be breech, or overdue or something complicated - I'm pretty sure of it. My other 2 deliveries were quite speedy (5 hours and 3 hours) and straightforward, and I'm certain this one will be all kinds of awkward.
  • im having an awful day today :(
Just wanted to ask where others around the 24 week mark are feeling their kicks ? all of mine are just above my hairline in the centre or right in my bits so low it feels like he is poking out , i dont ever remember getting them this low for so long ! Ive not had any to the side of my belly and only on odd occasions have I had them at my belly button.
Wondering if im getting so much pain in my groin due to how he is lying ?

    Hi Mishka
I don't know where the placenta is? Maybe if it's on the top, too tired for technical terms, it could limit the feeling. Most of the kicking is around the belly button and lower. I'm 25 weeks today :j:j:j Getting a few kicking like feelings in my lower rib area.

Hugs for the pain, been a carpy day pain wise. I'm shuffling like an olden :-( hope you sleep well and tomorrow is a better day xxxx

Mishka, I wa getting loads of very low down kicks, like you I thought a foot wa going to appear! Turned out baby was beech, with st least one foot down. Now that baby had turned, I get most kicks right out on one side, nearer my waist and ribs.

Re raspberry leaf tea, I started taking the capsules last week, only one a day until today when I took two. They taste rank so I dread to think what the tea is like!

on the topic of Raspberry leaf tea, you've been getting massive braxton hicks today after taking 2 tablets, thats what would happen when i drank the tea, loads of niggles and tightenings not long after drinking ;) must be doing something then !

raspberry leaf tea won't make you go into labour any earlier, all it does is strengthen your uterus muscles, to make the second stage of labour faster, so the feelings you are getting shouldn't be anything to do with the tea/tablets xx

Ikkle not sure what the heart pillow is or have any experience of it.

    In reference to kicks:
I have been getting low down kicks although when I was in the bath the other day I could see kicks above my belly button but wasn't feeling them. odd!?

Thanks for the leg advice everyone, very helpful! I need to do some leg exercises even if I don't have time for the yoga DVD.

Re. kicks, my baby has been kicking me in my midriff on the right side mostly, 2–3 inches above my belly button. He's doing it now in fact! I think they kick less as you get closer to due date because they have less room, although he's been fairly consistent. I've not been eating as much the last few weeks as I don't think there's much room in my stomach with the baby taking up all the space :D

Btw I'm loving the cooler weather too, I have to say!

Just found out that the two flats above us have been broken into today. I have been in and it is the only day in weeks I haven't opened the bedroom blinds (was washing the bedsheets and didn't want people to see the scummy duvet)

Now a little worried that someone has been watching the place.

I also didn't notice anything and we hear most movements from upstairs so worried that I should have noticed something and didn't.
