I guzzled raspberry leaf tea with my first, rankness it was too as it was loose leaves so had little bits floating,

I found it gave me an irritable uterus with just loads of niggles and twinges but absolutely no progress. I had a full induction at the end of it which took 4 days in total so cant say it actually helped me at all !

so on the massively negative note :o i will say dont pin all your hopes on it doing much

I had raspberry tea with my first. Didn't induce labour but then I have an inkling I read somewhere it's not meant to. It's meant to prime the cervix and make for eaasier labour and pushin. Certaintly did for my first. Less than an hour of pushing and out she slid :)

Thing is my midwife is off sick so I have seen a different midwife every time lol. So I have no idea who I would call lol!!

Problem is, with the tea, it's not a controlled experiment. You simply don't know what will have happened personally without it. So far mishka's said it slowed down labour and irritated her womb, rjh thinks it sped things up. How would you ever know whether your labour would have been any different anyway?

TBH, I only drink a cup when I remember :o

And it's never as nice as a proper brew :D

And putting my dental hat on its very very acidic so I would advise you guys to only drink it with a meal to avoid acid erosion on your teeth

absolutely, its not meant to induce or start labour and reading back what i wrote it reads as if i was saying thats what its supposed to do.

Hmmmmm don't think I'll bother with the raspberry tea then.......I just about remember to take my iron tabs 3 times a day!

fluffnutter part of me wants him here early but then I want to go full term and make sure he's well cooked! Ahhhhh.
Definitely don't want him here before the 9th June, its our friends wedding and OH is best man! Got a gorgeous silk dress thats non-maternity and I've had for a while its got loads of room in it so wearing that. Just want to be comfortable! Going shopping tomorrow for a fascinator and some sort of bolero to hide my bingo wings that I've seem to have grown! :o
Want to look nice but not sure thats possible at 37.5 weeks preggers! x

I tried EVERYTHING with my 2 boys, nothing worked and i went to full term + 10 days with both before they would induce me :( was so sodding miserable at the end i just spent my days crying.

I think im just not programmed to tell the time properly as im late for everything ;)
