Omg I feel absolutely awful, feel light headed and really sick :silenced:

I really hope I don't have a 'sicky' labour as I am actually terrified of being sick while on my own (OH is at work, hour and a half on public transport away!), I'm genuinely frightened of it, always have been :(

Also I have some employment tribunal paperwork to submit by Monday, it's mostly finished but not completely, ARGH why didn't I finish it sooner? I can't focus on legal jargon while feeling like this :-/

Re leg pain/cramps - I had this in the second trimester, lost count of the amount of times I flew out of bed at silly o'clock with cramp, it was horrible. What worked for me was, shortly before bed, do some small exercises - rotating each ankle 10times in each direction, stretch and flex your foot several times Etc - just generally get the blood flowing. That helped ease it for me.

I've been been feeling light headed and sicky for the past week now. Putting it down to the heat but will mention it to midwife tomorrow. Have a glass of cold water and lie down on your left for a bit and see how you feel after.

    Hi everyone *waves*

I've been lurking in and around this thread for months, but been a bit scared to join in!

There's no denying I'm pregnant now (30+5) - not that I was trying to, but felt a bit  about the whole thing, as it's our first.

Still slightly in denial that there may be a baby here (our baby!!) before the Olympics are over.

So, in the brave mood I have cultivated today - canI be added to the list? I am due on 2nd August with a surprise - hopefully a baby of some description.

Looking forward to the chat and support as I'm the only one in my circle of friends that is pregnant.

    Have a great day all,

    dj x

Yay, I'm so pleased to see you on here!! We chatted on TTC about pole dancing lessons before you got your BFP, then you disappeared and I got mine 3 weeks later :D

28 weeks today! Think that means 3rd trimester and was so tempted by the GAP offer someone mentioned as it expires Friday but I'm not paid until then, I think with all the bank holidays so have to leave it.

Congratulations Hannah, I'm still reading back but wanted to say hello to dj before i forgot! My skin has flared up horribly with acne, grr. We move on Friday and took some stuff today to put in the nursery, very excited but also stressed re money and moving doctors. Havent booked my 28wk midwife appt when they do bloods as want it to be with new doctors but cant do that until landlord gives me tenancy agreement. Never mind, teaching 2 fun classes tonight and had rest of the day off, back to work tomorrow, Friday and next week so at least I know I'm getting some money in. Really noticing that I get a lot more uncomfortable in office spaces compared to my dance teaching which is odd....

    Hugs to all xx

Good luck to all you movers, we moved in together (from 2 separate places) when I was about 16 weeks and it was pretty stressful! OH wouldn't let me lift anything (even light things!) and it seemed to take forever....but we're in and settled now so don't worry, it's all worth it in the end :)

and even though we have our place, the baby still doesn't have a bedroom/nursery because that's currently made up as our guest room. As baby will be in with us to start with, we didn't see the point of decorating it for a succession of adults to come sleep in it, so I don't get to decorate the cute nursery until baby is a couple of months old! If it ever decides to come out.....

I can beat you, we are in a one bed and no sign of a buyer in the near future. We'll survive though, I do have a 2 bedroom flat in Essex so worse case we just move their.

I had my appointment through for the consultant today as I'm having consultant-led care (although, still seeing my MW).

Is anyone else here having consultant-led care? I don't know what to expect.:o

I am just means my consultant does all my scans. If anything shows up he discusses it with me there and then.
