I didn't have morning sickness ladym, but as with other early symptoms such as tiredness, it varies from person to person. I think for a lot of people it tails off when you reach the 2nd tri but for an unfortunate few it lasts longer.

    Hey everyone.

Can I just ask when your morning sickness ended? I'm 12+2 and I had two days last week where I felt okay-ish and now it's come back. :( I heard that it's supposed to get better between weeks 12-14?

My husband wants to take my out for a meal next week so I'm hoping I feel better by then!

Yea mine gradually tappered off. Came back for a few days then went etc. I think my last spate was around 14 weeks. 1 strange day whan I was 16 and 20 something weeks. But really anything since. Not compared to how it was any ways!

It is so lush hearing that isn't it? :) I loved looking pregnant rather than just fat - although now I look like I have swallowed several bowling balls :D

Glad you had a lovely evening - put those puffy feet up for the rest of the day and hopefully they will go down xx
I keep getting the whole "arn't you supposed to be pregnant" " your tiny" comments. 32 weeks and I prob only look 24 or so!

I hope that you feel more secure in your pregnancy now, and it will be no time at all before you're holding your little girl in your arms for Mummy cuddles. :)

Seems to be getting worse rather than better unfortunately. It all went wrong at 31-32 weeks last time so still a few more weeks to go before we get there.

Still not believing that I will get mummy cuddles but hoping. Panicking that we haven't got any idea of names yet and really want something we can agree on, would make it feel a bit more real.

Mine tapered off slowly but at 16 weeks I realised that I no longer felt sick and could eat again. It does vary though.

Well I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes well for you this time around and that she is your forever baby. Try not to put too much pressure on yourselves about the name. Have you tried looking out for names you like on television credits etc? This really helped me to find a name for our little man. I'm sure one day you and DH will be out somewhere and hear a name and both think - that's a nice name, and you'll both agree. Maybe try a search on the baby names by their meaning rather than by popularity, or have you got any family names that you could use?
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Any of you had BH in your back? Earlier today I have had a band of tightening, that built up and then released (maybe about 5 -10 seconds or so) across the whole bottom of my back.

Had 3 of these, one was more a twinge but the other 2 were hard/tight enough to make me wonder if it might be a sign that things are on the move?!!?

I had similar sensations last week and have been having them on and off since. My midwife said it could be my body getting ready to start labour properly as contractions can start at the back rather than front but nothing's happened yet :( My MW did say to check with her or the maternity unit if they start being regular and lasting a minute or two at a time.

We already have a girls name picked out but we're still undecided on a boy. DH is pushing for Logan. I'm trying to let it grow on me...

I am 'officially' 14 weeks now and I think mine has finally gone - I'm waking
up OK and not requiring horizontal feeding before getting up :D (Mr SHK was going to get me toast with peanut butter every morning which I ate while lying down, and then lay quietly a few more minutes to let the stomach settle). I have been feeling fine for practically this whole week - so since 13 weeks - although I took it easy the first few days in case it was just waiting for me to move before pouncing. Still lots of burping though.. :o
I am finding I need to eat often (small bits regularly) though to keep feeling good, if I don't I get cranky, I presume it's my blood sugar or something.
