You could also try running some cool water in the bath and just dipping your feet in them for a bit hun that might help as well as feeling refreshing. First thing I did on Friday after getting out of hospital was have a cool shower and just splash my feet about in it for a bit, was bliss!
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Good plan I'll try that later, thanks :)

Twinklie I'm not experienced at all. I was lurking on the birth to a year thread and copied big chunks of advice from there. Some for when you get home etc. if you want I could copy onto a pm for you? It's upstairs on my iPad tho.

Ooh yes please. I don't know why I'm stressing about this stuff yet, but September is creeping ever closer and from the end of July I have no internet!!!!!!!

Any of you had BH in your back? Earlier today I have had a band of tightening, that built up and then released (maybe about 5 -10 seconds or so) across the whole bottom of my back.

Had 3 of these, one was more a twinge but the other 2 were hard/tight enough to make me wonder if it might be a sign that things are on the move?!!?

    So I had another nap
Thought the nasty pain had gone but it's back and is spreading round to my lower right back. Also feel like someone is trying to tug my cervix like pulling a plug out of the bath and my lady bits are very puffy and tender. I know this is my second and I should know these hings but don't want to phone someone if they think I'm just being silly.
love you lots like jelly tots :o
  • Have pm'd you Twinklie had to do two posts as was too long so hopefully it'll make sense.
Emsbet glad you had a great time. I find him really funny. Hugs for the swollen feet. I have a peppermint foot spray from b0dy shop which is nice for cooling feet. Doesn't do anything for swelling, but it nice and refreshing. They also do a gel.
RJH sorry to hear you're having a painful day. Big hugs, hope your feel better soon. If you're worried, it's better to ring for reassurance even if they do think you're daft it'll still put your mind at rest. To be honest I have no suggestions so I would ring someone xx

I went to lakeside yesterday to get some summer maternity trousers. So hot!

There were only two shops that sold anything maternity, one only had winter stuff and the other went up to size 14. So I have come away with nothing :(

I did too much walking too so have been sofa bound today.

On the plus side I was 24 weeks yesterday so will be taking home a birth certificate!! :j:j

Congrats kitten that great! I found eBay great for maternity stuff. Might be worth a try hun.

I'm looking for a pair of shoes they don't overheat my feet that are slip in but I hate feet so I can't show my toes lol. Also must be something that doesn't make feet sweat too much without socks
