yes Sexymouse, they have mango and passionfruit or raspberry and blackcurrent frappuccinos. They also do cream based ones without coffee, caramel cream is amazing, or chocolate cream :) Here it's half price fraps between 3-5, not sure if it's the same on the mainland.

A year ago today I got my BFP, and it feels like yesterday honestly. It'l fly in for your ladies xx

R.e the maternity pads, they are like little clouds of heaven compared to heavy duty sanitary pads. Especially if you've had a tear/episiotomy x

Thanks everyone, I guess I just need to be patient (not really my best attribute) and accept baby will arrive when he wants to.

Re: maternity pads, the advice from all the midwives I've come in contact with is that heavy duty normal pads are unlikely to do the job and many women end up needing to use 2 maternity pads at the same time! Plus as Gilly said, they're much softer.

Didn't sleep well at all last night though for once it wasn't due to the bump. Went to bed late because Eurovision was amusing me - or rather reading the comments made on FB amused me ;) I thought I'd sleep like the dead as I was really tired but no, one of my darling cats decided at 4am to sit outside our bedroom window crying. There's no way I'm starting letting them in through the window so I had to go downstairs to see what the fuss was about. They have a cat flap so it's not as if she was stuck outside. As soon as I was downstairs she jumped down and came in. Put some more food out and went back to bed, more crying about 7am, at 8am I gave up and got up. She came in, allowed me to stroke her for about 2 minutes then disappeared off out again by which time I'm very much awake *sigh*.

Hugs to everyone who wants them. Hope you all have a good day

Midwife said to me that the sanitary towels would probably absorb more blood, but because of that, you may not change as often as necessary. (I think thats what was said, may be wrong, was out of it) :o

I know it will be totally different for everyone, but what's a "safe" number of pads to get that won't require my DH running out in the first few days to get more. We won't be living near a supermarket...it'll take him ages to go and I'd rather have too many initially than not enough, so I can have him at home with me.

I'm not sure what a safe number is but they are £1.05 for a pack of 10 in Boots and 342 so I've bought 6 packs, I'm hoping that will keep me going for a bit.

Also Boots maternity pads are great as are Tesco. Mothercare I didn't like, not padded enough imo.

Hey everyone. Please may I join? :o

I'm 12+2 so not sure if I'm too early to be in this thread? I'm in the 12 to 24 pregnancy thread too.:o

My EDD is 7th December. I have severe M.E and my husband is my full-time carer. We didn't anticipate getting pregnant so quickly because I was told by healthcare professionals that it would most likely take a couple of years to conceive due to my long history of Anorexia (which I still struggle with) but it happened within a few months.:o

I'm struggling alot because the M.E is so bad but trying to take each day as it comes and make sure that I rest more (is that even possible?! I'm housebound and bedbound alot!).

Anyway, just wanted to say hey.:o
