Thanks, I am sure a name will come to us, we just haven't been discussing it. Putting it off, b 24 weeks last time we had the boys names, they were still options and weren't definite until the day but they were there.

Will have to dig out the girls spreadsheet from last time, remind us what we actually like

We had the middle names sorted right from the start and just worked around that. For a girl it was always going to be a middle name of Rose after my MIL and for a boy the middle name would always be Anthony as it's an important name to us (my OH, Grandad and brother all have the name Anthony and my other brother has it as a middle name)

We've got 2 names for each, and middles names picked out. We're going to wait and see what we get and what they look like before fixing on the first name! We didn't have any boys names picked until about a week ago and it was really stressing me out even though I'm only 15 weeks, I think because I find it hard to imagine having a boy even though it's a 50/50 chance feel better since we picked the names for the shortlist.

Am 32 weeks and we haven't decided on a name yet for our boy! But still a bit of time left!

Had some organ pain this evening - it feels like my organs/guts are been squished anyway, even before I started eating my dinner. It's frustrating when you're really hungry but you can't eat much because of the baby pressing on everything. I shouldn't complain really I suppose, as long as he's ok I can cope ...

People have said to me that I don't look very big for 32 weeks but I think maybe it's because this is my first baby. I've heard that can be the case. But my bump is quite compact and just at the front. Still a lot of effort to get around now though. I went swimming today with my husband and it was so nice to let the water take some weight. I'd recommend swimming to all the ladies out there!

Morning all,

I hope everyone slept well. Hips weren't too bad last night so I only woke about four times. My cankles are still sore though but they are less puffy this morning.

We have a couple of first names short listed for little man but are going to wait until he's born to see which suits. We've not settled on any middle names yet. DH isn't bothered about having one as he doesn't and so doesn't see the point but I always feel a bit sorry for people who don't have one and also our surname is so common I think he needs a middle name.

I've got my sisters, one nephew, mum and grandma coming to visit today which will be nice.

Slept well ? Um no. Worst nights sleep yet went to sleepy at twelve woke four times until two
When I was awake
Awake. Lay awake till four then bellygrumvked so up for some toast. Watched a glee episode then back to bed bout half four. Drifted off at five and now I'm awake to get ready to go to Uni for a full day.

On plus side I have my pelvic pain physio led class thing today so hopefully that will help as I'm very very sore. Have been popping the paracetamol all weekend to no relief.

Morning all

Hope it's a little cooler today for some of you....feels like its going to be another hot one here.

We had names (1 for each) picked out before conception....we're not incredibly sad (honest!!), the conversation only lasted about 5 mins as we both agreed with each other straight away! However, with two days to my due date, OH has gone off the boy's name, and I'm increasingly concerned that the girl's name is too popular :-/ might end up being "baby" for a while!!!

While I've been off work for 2 weeks now, that was actually annual leave...so today is my official first day of maternity leave....meaning this week is the last proper payday for me, and officially the start of no "non-essentials" at all until i go back to work (I'm not a terrible budgeter- my work are ripping me off by refusing to pay my contractual mat pay only smp, but didnt know they were going to pull a fast one until i was already up the duff, employment tribunal is set for sept so fingers crossed I get my money then, but the difference in the mean time is £3000!!!! :eek: )

I hope you manage to get a result at the tribunal turtlemoose, such a pain that between now and then you have to survive on less money. I'll only be on SMA as I was made redundant at 16 weeks pg. luckily my wages weren't great (although a lot better than SMA!) and DH is on a good wage so we should be ok. I hate not having my own wage though.
