Really suffering with my feet at the moment. They are soooooo swollen it hurts to walk. They are also very very itchy especially at night, as are my hands. Sure its normal but will mention it to midwife when I see her on Monday for my 36 week appointment.
Is it just your feet that are swollen? Do you have the opportunity to raise them regularly throughout the day? If you do, does the swelling reduce? How are your face, hands and your lower back? Are they swollen too? When was your blood pressure last checked?
Do you itch anywhere else? General itching but particularly your palms and the soles of your feet can indicate obstetric cholestasis.
TBH, if I were you I'd probably give the midwife a ring today and not leave it until next week. Bear in mind I'm a bit of a hypochondriac though

Well ladies, this is it... i'm in labour!!!! MW came at 10.30 to do a sweep and my waters broke feeling nervous and i'd forgotton the pain :eek: BUT I'm also dead excited! Pool is inflated and ready to rock. Dan is just at the shop getting heavy duty pads for me and sweets to munch on as well as ice...
I was told to ring when contractions are every 10 mins and so far they are every 13-15 :eek: my bum hurts!!! I can get in the pool when 4cm dialted.. just need dan to come home now and get everything on standby!!!! cant bloomin wait!!! Bad mother to 2!
