3 days to go until D Day!!! regarding breast pads, i can't really help there as I've been sleeping on a towel. After Ive had baby I will wear breast shells and not pads so sorry about that one!
Mrsmanda good luck today. make them write it in your notes in big RED letters
i'm packing the girls emergency bags today so I don't have to rush around finding clothes and nighties and special comfort toys for them to take to my dads when i go into labour. I'm taking them over to my dads tomorrow so it's all sorted and he will just have to pick up children when he gets the call! Tomorrow should be good. Taking the girls to soft play in the morning (i shall sit with a book!) and then they are buyuing a dvd each to watch at my dads, Then it's off to my dads for me to stick my feet up with countless cups of teacan't wait!
sexymouse hope you can get your heartburn under control
emsbet hope the weather stays ok for you to get your monitorBad mother to 2!

Miss money stupid question maybe, but isn't the feeling too far backwards?? I have had loads of pressure at the front (where I expected to feel it) but from yesterday the pressure has moved backwards.....does this mean something could be happening or is that just wishful thinking???
Mrsmanda congrats on 37weeksI hope you manage to get the docs to listen, I can only imagine its incredibly frustrating for you especially when (in theory!) baby could come any time now!

Morning ladies
I almost didn't want to wake up this morning, well it is now nearly afternoon I guess!
SM hugs for the heartburn. I'm sure the dr won't mind. I often ask for an advice call safe me trekking over especially if there's no real need to examine me. Do you take anything like omeprazole?
Emsbet hope the weather holds out for you. Touch wood not bad here, I even saw sun earlier. Making me wonder if I should use some of our vouchers for a monitor and not the 500+ nappies that I was planning to get.
MrsManda good luck for your appt
Breast pads I think there was a chat about them a little while ago and tommee tipee ones were good (and often on offer they said) and I think boots were good. Another brand I think began with a L maybe linoleum? Were said to be good but a bit pricey, although I don't know any of this for fact. I think someone said mothercare ones were bulky and visible from outside. That's what's think was said, with this baby brain who knows :rotfl:
My days plan: well have already sorted out a wheelchair for Monday, await my Next delivery, build this nappy cake for a baby shower and er..... drink tea hehe:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j
:jSecond menace arrived safely 13th February 2014 :jDebt Free Wannabee 20150 -
Lol thanks! Fingers crossed it is engaged then!!!! as doc wants me to hurry up naturally apparently (wouldn't we all if we could!!) so might get some pineapple, a curry and pounce on the OH later hehe0

For those of you wanting an angelcare monitor, we got ours from a shop seller (ie not a person) on eBay for a total of £59, brand new/sealed etc - as the cheapest we could find it at the time was mothercare at £80 we were very chuffed with that price.
I've just had a quick look at all the ones listed as "new" and there's some at auction but also some good BIN prices like this one at £65

:rotfl::rotfl: on the TTC thread there is a link to pictures of various types of CM throughout a woman's cycle. That's kinda icky, if very informative. I remember seeing a series of pictures once of a woman's cervix throughout the month
On a less icky note, I just had a cheese and pickle toastie with pickled onions and salt and vinegar squares on the side, yum yum. Now I'm going to have an apple and a yoghurt for my pudding. Oink oink! I'm such a piggy

Hello ladies, I've been lurking for a while and wanted to introduce myself. I am currently 15ish wks pg with number 3. I have 2 girls already, eldest just over 3 and youngest 19 months. Somehow I'm going to have 3 children under school age at home for about 10 months. Eep.
Anyway I wanted to mention about breast pads. Lansinoh (the ones someone mentioned above) are good, as are Tommy Tippee, but you can get washable ones which are really good. I've never had leaking in pregnancy but get far too much milk each time and have been through loads in my time. Avent make a pack of 6 and you get a little bag which you stick them in the washing machine.
Nice to meet you all!0 -

That was on the TTC thread, I watched it too, made OH watch it as well. It was one of those 'once seen can't be unseen' moments. Didn't want to associate it with my body :rotfl:Dribblekitten wrote: »Hello ladies, I've been lurking for a while and wanted to introduce myself. I am currently 15ish wks pg with number 3.
