Thanks I've bookmarked a couple. So far I've bookmarked a total of 23 sticker sets!

Are the wall stickers easy to take off? Wouldnt damage the walls? May get some if not
Also emsbet you will have mail perhaps monday or tuesday! The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Afternoon all
Appointment went well though baby isn't engaged yetAt least he's the right way round
I finally have a birth plan, all written in clear letters on my handheld notes and my hospital notesThe obstetrician even wrote that they should get an anaethetist to put my IV in rather than a midwife because my veins are a mess.
Now just need baby to hurry up as everything's in place so he has no excuse
Next obstetrician appointment is at 40 weeks though the lovely person on reception as I booked it told me not to worry as they get birth notices daily so if baby arrives I don't have to remember to cancel - I think she knows how much I'm hoping to have baby sooner
SM glad you're feeling better
Welcome to newbies, labour vibes to the boldies.
I keep thinking I'm losing some plug but I think it's just wishful thinking and is just discharge. Trying to not think about anything being a sign of impending labour as I'll just feel disappointed and frustrated. My friend lost her plug 2 weeks before her due date and still didn't give birth until she was 10 days overdue.
I feel like all I want to do is sleep and hideaway from everyone but I've got a pile of paperwork to do and need to attend a tutorial tomorrow. I'm used to being really prepared so I can make the most of the contact time but I haven't even looked at the questions in detail yet. I don't know how people manage to work while in late pregnancy, I think you're all amazing.0 -

The ones I've been looking at are removable and don't damage the walls.
Oooo! I'm super excited now!!

Hi all, haven't posted for a bit so congrats to Nutella and welcome to anyone new to the thread.
Emsbet we are going for a jungle theme in our nursery and I've been looking at the wall stickers. I think we're going to go for the Fisher Price Rainforest Room Makeover set. It's quite expensive but the characters match the other Fisher Price Rainforest products and there's even a book introducing all the characters so I think it will be quite a nice theme.
I've been having a bit of a nightmare this week. I've been suffering with horrendous groin pain. I think it's SPD/PGP and I'm a bit worried that if it's this bad now, how bad is it going to get as my pregnancy progresses. I've been to my GP to see if I can get a referral for physio but she was completely unhelpful. Apparently the physio will not see me before 28 weeks (I'll be 24 weeks tomorrow) due to "hospital policy" so I have to struggle on in pain with no help until I can get a referral. The GP was really dismissive and basically said the problems I'm having are normal and lots of women suffer and there's nothing I can do other than carry on as normal. A bit difficult when I can hardly walk!
I found this website http://www.pelvicpartnership.org.uk/ which has some really useful information - I recommend anyone suffering with SPD takes a look. In the end I decided I can't wait for an NHS referral (and they probably aren't going to be that helpful anyway) so I've booked myself an appointment with a private physio for next Thursday. It's going to cost a bit but if they can help me it will be worth it. I've been in tears over the whole thing more than once this week but luckily both my mom and my DH have been super supportive and understanding which really helps.0 -
Elelyn it may be worth ringing your local physio dept and see what they say. I was referred at 16 weeks, but we knew it would happen due to preexisting hip problems. Big hugs hun xxxxx:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j

MrsManda, not long to go now! Can't believe how quickly time has flown by!
I went for a swim this morning, so lush being in the water...although it was ridicious how heavy I felt when I got out!
Got antenatal class with DH tomorrow 10-4 (in this area you get one one-day workshop) which I'm looking forward to. If the maternity ward at the hospital is quiet you are able to look round it in the afternoon and also view the new-ish midwife led unit which is right next door. Fingers crossed we'll be able to have a good old nosy
Have a lovely evening all
