Thanks all, think it's going to be a good investment for me. I have looked poohbear but helping run a couple of north east sites I try not to ask for items, positive role model etc. Does anyone know how well the potato peeler works? I'm not lazy just got naff hands and I've been having to do a lot lately. The paddle on my BM is goosed so it would save me replacing that. Just got to make sure there is money somewhere to buy it with when I sort bills

DW, WM and TD all going round again, 2 bin bags of recycling and a small of general parp flung. Doesn't seem to look any better.

Suppose I should do some more
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Just dropping in before getting some practice in on bass.

Minion had follow up appointment at the paediatrician's yesterday. She's being referred for a long term cardiac monitoring thingy because of her chest pains and fainting not going, plus a neurologist as they're still not 100% the fainting isn't a seizure, and probably a few other things whilst she's there (we have the geneticist and ophthalmologist next month already). And her blood pressure was low on a standing test, so she got ordered to drink more water again.

    Not so bad.

Then she wanted a new bunch of bras as we came back through M&S, so we picked her usual size and she tried them on. She is so thin, she's lost loads of weight since December, as there was nothing much to put in the cups, you can see her collar bones from start to finish and her spine sticks out like a stegosaurus (which I obviously didn't say).

Then, because of all the full length mirrors, she pulled a face and said she had just realised her scoliosis is getting worse. It is as well. So she said 'I am going to have to wear a brace, aren't I?'. What could I say but 'I don't know. You're back at orthopaedics soon, we'll ask them then'. :(

Poor bean. Still no sign of things getting better for her.

Anyway, she's off at KH's this weekend, so I have cleaned the kitchen and stripped the bed. Not a lot else though, as I've got first rehearsal tomorrow afternoon for my next gig. And my amp's in the workshop for repairs, so I have to sit in silence to hear the bass.

At least the Ninja Kitten is sleeping now, having tired himself out launching himself at the kitchen counters until he finally made it up there. [moves old girl cat's bowl halfway up the bookcase]

    Love to poorlies.

    Vanilla, don't feed trolls ;)
Pigpen ***doosh*** gladly!!! I've got a nearly 11 who soaked the bed last night if it's too weird?

Washer is on, realised heating has been off all day, thermostat says 11 degrees....heating is on. We've got major damp issues at the mo & it's driving me bonkers, soaking wet furry walls, think I need another dehumidifier

Think I'll relax with the youngest watching some tele while my back warms up then I might put the rest of the shopping away

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Off to Petersfield on Friday to see darling dad, looking forward to it

Near to me - hope you have fun!
Seen in an afternoon audience of mostly pensioners (cheap on Thurs with free coffee and biscuit)

Do you not have to be a pensioner to go to those screenings? I've often seen them advertised but didn't think I could go!

Love to all especially Toots, L-L and LW x

    Evening

    Fingers crossed for one step
    hugs for Jojo's DD
    Laughs at pigpen

Managed to have a dingdong with both DH and DD this morning so bathroom was scrubbed within an inch of its life, followed by a mummy melt down :o

Took a walk down to Mr T for a few bits which refreshed me then sat and watched Herbie with DD. DH has gone to work so we treated ourselves to burger n chips for tea. now need to empty DW and reload then dont think I'll do much more before bed. DH should be home around 7am so it will be an early wake up rather than a lie in but have plenty to do so wont be a bad thing.

will catch up with you all then
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Kaz.. it isnt funny.. I dont even know why I felt that way.. I do NOT want to be married, maybe I just want to feel wanted.

Well... once again I am utterly floofed off...

I am so fed up of the "taken for granted/taken for a fool/take-take-take" shizzle..

The ex-MIL has put up an album on fb of "her grandchildren" ... do you know how many of the children featured are mine????????? NONE!!!! Not a single solitary one!!!!!!! She disgusts me! *remove from list put on ignore* The children dont care but I find it quite sickening on their behalf!

I do not like this "extra child" She is like something from Children of the Corn... ..

3 weeks of "healthy eating" ... feeling like my throats been cut and how much has been lost??? nothing.. nada... zip!!!!! Such a waste of time and effort....

DS3s bloods have gone doolally.. hypo then with no real correction it is 3 times higher than it should be then with eating a normal meal it is back to a reasonable level again... I hate diabetes.. it is evil.. :(

OH is going to be stangled with his own scrotum while he sleeps..

3 loads of washing later I have no room for drying and am losing the will to live.

you know... I dont think I am having a good day!

Apparently not - I had no difficulty in booking for me and DD1 - but we are both members. I think it's just another incentive to fill cinema screens during the day!

But the behaviour of the audience was noticeably better - and on that basis I may go again on a Thursday..
