    Evening all

I spent the entire afternoon with the DSs in town, sorting stuff for DS1's trip. He really is excited. I'm just glad that he back payment of child benefit came in time, otherwise we couldn't have done this.

I came home cold, aching and absolutely shattered. Tea was pizza and various other heat-up items. :o I'm trying to spend some time with DS2, as he's worried about his brother going so far away. God knows what he'll do if DS1 ends up on the 6-month Borneo trip.

Going for a hot bath now and then maybe a nap before I tackle some school stuff. Flying won't happen now, other than dailies and anything laundry/packing related.

Spent ages this evening looking online at DSi for DS3 for his birthday. Can't decide if it is worth the extra cash for DSi XL and not keen on the idea of 3D. Now realised that the DSi are sold out in loads of places and those that have them are quite expensive. Any tips gratefully received. B'day is 4 feb so not much time.

Just going to set WM and then off to bed

Well my day was different. I took DD2 to drumming, went into town for some cleaning products and went to my friends to drop some things off and have a coffee.
I ended up spending the day there helping their DD4 declutter & tidy her side of the bedroom. To be truthful it was in a terrible state but she did really well, we got 3 black sacks for the CS, 1 bag of clothes for the scouts and 3 sacks of rubbish  The CS stuff is in my car so DD4 wont take it back out :D
I've said I'll go back tomorrow to help DD3 with her side and DD2 with her room
Don't you find it so much easier when it's someone elses junk? :rotfl:
My DD2 and I got fed and I've been promised a home made bakewell tart from BF and cheese scones from their DD4 :D

Off to bed now, DD2 has decided not to go to drumming tomorrow so no need to set the alarm :)

Just lost a post along with the energy to repeat it tonight. Thanks for pointing out the numbers, pigpen. Made me smile. :D

ETA Dusty - NN's DS told us that the 3D only works well if you hold it at the right distance/angle. Not sure it's worth the extra money. DS2 has one of the original models (bought pre-owned from game) and is happy with it, especially when he realised that it meant more money to spend on games.

and for an alternative view - my DS (9) doesn't get on well with the smaller DS screen, but his new XL is fabulous - no more frustration and if allowed he'd play for hours...
