    Morning All

Woke up at 4.30 convinced it was Monday and thinking that I hadn't sorted out my clothes for the funeral, I hadn't ironed the kids' uniforms and I hadn't told anyone I probably won't be at Beavers. I was then wondering if something was wrong with Dusty as she hadn't started the new thread when I came off the computer last night! It must have taken me about 10 mins to realise it was Sunday! Anyway, I got up and I've defrosted the freezer and done a freezer inventory, and emptied and reloaded the WM and TD.

Going to get dressed in a min and then DD wants me to have a go at zumba on the wii with her for the first time.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Morning all

(((Hugs))), jue. Sounds like you need a break.

Operation laundry is progressing well (last load in WM now) and ham is in the SC. :D

    List for today:
    [STRIKE]HW [STRIKE]and reading[/STRIKE] with DS2[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]quick trip to Mr M[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]sorting clothes[/STRIKE]
    iron essentials
    [STRIKE]packing list for DS1[/STRIKE]
    school stuff x ? [STRIKE](best make a separate list)[/STRIKE]

First time for some food. DH needs to get up soon and then DS1. Will be just a bit busy today, I think.

ETA Breakfast eaten (me and DS2), DH up and out. Personal reference for NN's DS written and e-mailed. Fast approaching melt-down!

    Morning all

Bit of a lie in after all as DH didnt wake me up until 9 with a cup of tea and I'm still in bed. Lol DD who is sat on the end of the bed just asked if it was my relaxing day, ha chance would be a fine thing, its shopping, washing and cooking today, oh and running the hoover fom top to bottom. So no prob not relaxing.

Piggers sorry but it is the way you tell em. I'm pretty sure youre very much wanted although the remark about OH's scrotum might tell a tale :p. I too would be hacked off with ex MIL but then mine never even acknowleged DD at all in the 7 years before she died. I think like you yesterday for me was one of those where you feel everyone takes you for granted and also that we are 3 people living in the same house but that doesnt constitute being a family. Theres no mucking in together to get stuff done and rarely do we do anything together but todays another day and i'm not letting it get to me today

Dusty my DD loves her XL she prefes the bigger screen and it seems to do a bit mor than the DSi did. We got ours from Sainsbugs when they had a special offer on them.

    Back later
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

I woke up this morning feeling like pants :( I think I have a cold coming back, I feel all hot and cold, achey and headache :(
Got woken up by my friend texting to say that her DD4 had named her toy spider but had fallen down the stairs

OMG DC5 has just walked past me carrying a make up sponge in the mouth! :rotfl:

Slow start here today I think, DDs are still in bed and I want to get my jobs done before we go to my friends to help their kids.
They live in a large town house but as my friend is disabled she can't do all the stairs. So as the youngest 3 have bedrooms at the top of the house they rarely get looked at. Yesterday was the first time my friend has been well enough to get up there for about 6 months :o

:wave:Hi Oddjob, long time no see.

I am another fan of the ignore button, as long as no one quotes the people you have on ignore then it works nicely.

Huge amounts to do here as all I did yesterday was sort the paperwork mountain but it is now finished and I think I have found the missing bits so I can do my tax return, and request DHs refund.

ETA Wendywitch a few pages back you asked about how we know about birthdays. Some of it is historic (I remember when Dustys is for example), some of it is the Facebook group which tells you when birthdays are if people have put it in, and also at the bottom of the front page of the forum it tells you users birthdays if they have logged them in to MSE. Juliejim is usually the best one at remembering/spotting birthdays.

Sounds like the fan is now also dodgy in my lappy.. so.. the keyboard doesnt work, the power supply blew up (I nicked DD2s) the DVD drive has thrown a wobbly...

OH decluttered a jelly baby head from Squeaks hair! That child is quite gross lol.

Time to bath and scrub and deflea before Dot is kicked out of bed.. might bath her too seeing as she hasnt been done for an age.

OH has meat to marinate and he can dry and dress Squeak. We!!! Are then going to clean the kitchen befoe we all end up with cholera, dysentry or botulism! It is not pretty in there! The only tidy room in the house is Squeaks room! I NEED to get myself in gear but it is so hard when he is here all the time and doesnt help, I need him to work, why is there nothing doing?

We got the 3DS cheap frm Saisbugs too.. £110 ish it was i think

  • Hi all. Just popped in with a terrible tale of what happens when you fall off the flywagon.

Just vacuumed the sitting room, worked fast and after a whole hour, I had only done two thirds of it.

Think I need Kim and Aggie.

Last lot of washing in TD (although I'll throw towels in the WM later), clean and dry stuff folded and in appropriate places, socks paired. DS1 is almost up and stress levels are rising by the minute. Not good. Going to make a drink and starting on school stuff next.

4 girls bathed, deflea"d.. quick job as I appear to have done it very well last time as noone has any :D

I have about 400000000000000 loads of laundry to get through.. may do towels actually and get them on the line to be blown off into the mud :p

DS3 cleared laundry from the bathroom 95% was his!
DD3 is stripping the mattress her friend slept on.. sleepovers at mine are great.. they were all snoring by 9 and didnt get up until 8 this morning.. :D

OH can go wake Dot and get her bum changed while I deal with DD3s hair then after Dot is fed WE are sorting that gross kitchen :D
