I've managed a bit more general flinging (as I've walked past empty packages etc) and decluttered a (for us) short phone call to my friend in Germany. DS2 and I have had lunch and I'm now trying to tick things off the work list, in between chivvying DS1 along, who needs to pack.
DS1 Can you wash these boxers
Me I've done the last wash for today.
DS1 They're the only ones that really fit.
Me We were in town yesterday, clothes shopping. Why didn't you say.
Said boxers are still on the landing and DS1 is living in hope. It so won't happen!0 -

Today I have mostly been...... Watching Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets!!! From my box set bought by OH for Christmas, have also done HHI x2, and needing some ooomph to sort some dinner and do W/W, must get a DW!! aargh CBA. Ooh just remembered I did put a load in the WM.
Have registered this morning for a seller account on eBay, reading through all your posts and being inspired to do some good with the clutter, but looks so daunting I wouldn't know where to start, will just keep looking at the app comtemplating on what to do.
Healing vibes to the young lad, thoughts are with him.
Best sort out that W/W then wait for next weeks list, see what lies in store for tomorrow.0 -
Evening all!
Hoping to jump back in again next week (been on and off lurking....feeling guilty as bare minimum dailies are being done and thats it....and it shows!!) so hopefully lots of flying WILL be done! Hope everyone is well and not been blown away by the wind!

I usually manage to get some rooms done but whole house is actually tidy today. I'll be back next week. I dont know if others find it hard to fly during the week as I actually did most of this over the weekend and ironing will be done tonight. I'll try and do it daily this week

OK, not bad (apart from the last item). I think I'll be working until late (or early
), then up just before 3am to wave DS1 off, then back to bed until 6.
The rest of the evening will be tea, bath for DS2, helping DS1 pack and work. DH is still snoring - he was complaining about warm ham sarnies for tea, but didn't take me up on the offer of letting him do spuds and veg, so!
Not sure I'll achieve much this week, due to goings-on at work. We'll see what difference DS1's absence makes.0 -
Dusty healing and coping vibes for the family..
I'm keeping up well with the washing, only a few more to do tonight and i'll have an empty basket again....
DD decluttered for a bath and then i'll scrub the boys, school bags have been sorted, money for school sorted and kitchen worktops all cleared and cleaned plus the windowsil.
Still need to fold and put away clean clothes, get the dw on, take stuff out of the freezer for dinner tomorrow, get mine and Rhys's clothes ready, get bag ready..Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
I've lost a diamond too! I haven't worn my engagement ring for a few months it rubs against my eternity ring so I swap them on and off. I will get it fixed with possibly my last pay packet:(
Thoughts and concern for the young man and his family in the taxi accident.
DS3 scored his 1st goal for his Sunday league team:j. They lost 1-5 but he's a winner in my biased eyes.
I hope tomorrow goes as you want it to JJ. Don't try to throw yourself back into 'normal mode' too quickly. How's the toothache?
Wendy take a deep breath..... and breath out. They are horrors at times occasionally they revert to the lovely person they can be.
Jo-Jo hugs for your DD.
See you all on the new thread.0 -
wendy I hope things are improving
Dusty lots of healing vibes and prayers for your young friend
I have cleaned and tidied the back porch and cleaned a sick hen. She is now in a cat box in the kitchen with lots of straw, food and water and warmth.
So pleased you found your diamond DK. It certainly concentrates the mind when cleaning and looking for them. I have that medal too. I know the relief you feel when it is found.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Dinners done but enjoying a glass or 2 of a 2010 Vincent Grall Sancerre before I begin to clear up in the kitchen.
DD has gone to see how her bread dough is rising as we stupidly decided to make it all by hand which is great except I forgot it needs at least 2 hours rising - doh
Need to put TD on and WM again but thought I better wait for one of the high powered appliances to finish before putting another on.
Suppose I really should do that but the wine is just so good and relaxing plus we have another few episodes of Oz Clark and James May to watch.
Decisions decisions. ?............Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0
