Morning all
Glimmer of sunshine here today. House is looking remarkably tidy for a Saturday morning, aim is to see if it can be maintained through the weekend.
Bits and pieces off my list still to do and DH has a list too.
Breakfast first and then a shower.
MOAM good luck for today, is it your own small business?
Piggers hope the osteopath is successful for Dot, there is no guarantee taking her earlier would have worked so don't be harsh on yourself. DS3 looked like he had been flat packed as a babe, completely flat back of head. I took him to cranial a lot and it made no difference. Only when he could sit up and move about did the shape or his head slowly change and the pressure ease. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

DD2 is doing my head in!!
She has the worst attitude ever and has started to speak to my like sh*t.
She has done an ok job in the bedroom so I said she could go to drumming. She has to be there for 12, so far it's taken her 1 1/2 hours to have a wash and get dressed. She moaning that she needs to wash her hair but just sits on her ars* playing on her phone! I tell "go and do you hair then" she says "I'm hungry" and carries on sitting there. "Go and get something to eat then!" she storms off . . . "what can I put on toast?" "I don't know, marmite?, jam? you know where the food is look in the cupboard!"
DD1 has hidden upstairs and is probably thanking her lucky stars shes going to the boyfriend's today
The exboyfriendish's invite to his is looking more and more tempting
I have a list of things I need to do today and if DD2 isn't ready when I am it's going to be her tough!!
Just for the record there is NO AF in the building nor is she due this is just normal life with DD2 now

Well DD and DH are up and finished breakfast. DD has just on instructions emptied and reloaded the DW. DH is sat at the table on his laptop and DD has just holed herself up in front of the TV again, both are still in their dressing gowns. Think I'm in for a tough day if we want to achieve anything
CY its a real shame about the teachers attitude, I would go straight to the year head to complain. Photography is art, and Art is a very personal taste so unless your daughter has completely misunderstood the task then she should not be criticised because the teacher doesn't like it.
Pigpen I second everything lilme said, you know you are a great mum, and I really hope that it works.
Wendywitch not sure how old your daughter is but I've been through a lot with my daughter and am pleased to say she is settling down nicely. At least now when she kicks off she then very quickly returns to apologise :rotfl:
I'm sure there was more I wanted to comment on but if I try and remember or go back then I will never get anything done
Off to fly someMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

I got up when DH's alarm went just before 8am and it feels like I've done lots since then: taken DS2 to toy shop to buy himself more skylander figures (had to be there early, as they were going to sell out fast), breakfast at McD's (rare treat) and then quick shop at Mr M's. Breakfast for DS1, emptied DW, swapped WM and TD over, folded towels, hoovered LR, tidied kitchen a bit more, little town centre to finish shopping and put all shopping away. Oh, have also collated and sorted all laundry and sorted through fridge contents.
On a normal weekend this lot would have made a big difference to my list, but not this time.Off into town with both boys in a minute, mainly for DS1's trip stuff. Must remember to stop at the farm on the way for some more spuds and make myself a list. Can't afford to forget anything this time.
Have a good Saturday, everyone. x0 -

OH op was on thursday so I seemed to get out of doing the bathroom!! its not too bad though, his dad came to be with him friday morning when i went to work as he wasnt allowed to be on his own for 24 hours but no offer of W/W, OH made HIM a cup of tea rather than the other way round, I mean!!! So i spent AN HOUR doing the W/W this morning!!
Catching up with other bits now WM so will leave the Ironing til later or tomorrow. Maybe able to do some of the HH or challenges next week, my spare room is a bit messy!!
We have OH parents coming tonight and bringing a chinese, hopefully his mum will help with W/W afterwards!! what with him needing to be looked after aswell as the housework and DD its quite tough!! but DD has been a star with him very gentle and caring.
Hugs to evryone, now off to get us some lunch. Have a good weekend to all.

This morning I will mainly be flying and transforming a rather utilitarian hall into a somewhat brighter reception venue for a small event tomorrow. Amazing what bright bunting & tableclothes can do - along with some shuffling of furniture. Hoping to get all organised and as much delivered as possible in an hour - can we do it? Clock starts at 10am.....
Moam
Not quite is the answer - took 20 minutes over, but all in place ready for tomorrow. And no,not a business but I just seem to be the one who does this for allsorts. Quite enjoy it though and can do a buffet on a shoestring budget if needed!
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -

I want my pjs on.. I am so uncomfy in my clothes

Now to kick everyone into helpng tidy I think.. I have complained about the mess and not having time to do everything and while I want to throw it all in the bin I do need 90% of it so it needs to just be put away.. but I just want to sleep!
Both babies napping so I shall do a swift HHC reclaim mission see if i can find some floor enough to get Henry out!
