Sadly DD2's photography teacher has pretty much trashed her coursework. I have no objective to constructive criticism but to say 'this will get you no marks - why have you stuck it on this board - this does nothing for me' is pushing the boundaries on manners if nothing else!

I hate it when teachers destroy children's confidence in their work with negative criticism-instead of saying what they said why not offer advice on how to print the photos and present them, not everyone is good at that sort of thing.:(

    Happy Birthday Poohbear!!

How do you lot know when it's peoples birthdays? I only know if someone else says :o

Finally got the car back! Still not 100% happy with it but we'll see how it goes
Had a chat with my mum about what it's cost so far _pale_ and we've decided we need to friend another mechanic for the future as we both think some of these jobs should have been noticed at the same time.
This evening DD1 and I have finally made a meal plan  we're going to use up everything in the freezers before we go shopping. I forsee lots of strange meals coming up :rotfl:
DD2 is still working on her side of the bedroom  and has been told that she won't be going to drumming club at the weekend unless it's done.
I've stripped the beds and washing the bedding. I've also cleaned the bathroom so I'm pleased that my lists for the weekend are short :)

Poohbear & Moam - Happy birthdays!!
Keys - I remember it was your driving test today. Hope you passed, in which case congratulations, - but if not, chin up, I didn't pass first time either.

I've not had time to catch up with all recent posts, but those I have looked at seems like many of us have had a busy week which has impacted on flying. I've done my best - so going to focus on the positives.

    Evening all

Been busy after work with dental check-up and swimming for DS2, sorting tea and driving DH into town. Since then I've caught up on various internet-related things and relaxed for a bit. I must do some flying tonight because a) it will warm me up and b) it will otherwise not get done. Very busy weekend ahead with work and getting DS1 ready for his trip.

I know - I'll make another cup of tea, find some nice clips on youtube and get going. :D Might start with a bit of Bon Jovi or Bryan Adams. :D

Well.. I need a day off... after the nails were done this morning I had Dot at the cranial osteopath and now I feel super-mean! He said her neck is very very tiht and sore and there is absolutely no movement in the plate at the back of her skull so she needs a fair bit of work :( no wonder she is so unhappy and struggling to feed properly. We are back next week.. but I have mummy guilt for not taking her 3 months ago like I felt I should.. I have left her in discomfort all that time because I didnt have the time or moey to take her :(

Jacob has been round and had his hair minced as best we coud manage with a wriggling 3 year old! I also hedrin"d him as he was crawling with lice.. it is Tabithas birthday party tomorrow and my sister would die if she got them! lol

Kitchen has since been swept, rubbish/recycling/composting all out, dw been on, WM been on..

Tesco list written to OH can escape for a couple of hours tomorrow afternoon lol.

Off to sort bag and clothes for tomorrow.. party is at 10am so I need to have my act together.. :s
