  • We found a message on the answerphone at teatime - it was from my mum saying that she was going into hospital!

I rang my sister and asked her to ring me. The phone rang again and it was mum saying she was home, but that the phone had been left off the hook so she'd ring tomorrow.

My sister then rang back - mum had just rung her. The difference was that she didn't know what had happened at all.

Anyway sister will ring mum tomorrow (sis is a nurse so will know what to ask) and will then ring me!

Not a bad start to the weekend - LR tidy and ready for hoovering in the morning, kitchen tidy and dishes done, beds changed. Spending a bit of time on youtube, then bed.

Hugs to everyone having a bit of a rough time (pigpen, CY, jue).

Hello, sorry, been avoiding here and the world to be honest. Kind of got a kick up the bum now because I just booked work which involves the workman being in several rooms, so I best get a wiggly on! Whole house needs dragging into shape and all I want to do lately is sleep and escape. It's official BD is a K and I can't shake it as easy as I thought.

Pigpen you know you're a fab mum, we all have to make decisions and choices every day, we never know If they are good or bad ones as we can't turn back time. Don't be so hard on yourself, you've already done more than most would

I'll do myself a list tomorrow, think I'm too tired to start it tonight & I have a child awake

Hugs for all of you, especially those who need one xxx
One day I might be more organised...........

Morning all. I'm still waking up at 6am! This is not good. We are out tonight so hopefully a late night will get me back into my natural waking time of 7am.

I couldn't do any ironing this morning as getting the upstairs basket would have woken everyone up. I did my homework for my breastfeeding peer supporter course. 2nd sesssion of the course is today so I have to set off in 45 mins.

I hope everyone has a nice day!

    Morning All

I've been awake for ages as usual - been reading my kindle. Going to get up in a minute and make a start. Dishes first I think then hoovering.

Save Dosh - the list is for 5 days and then hopefully you don't have much to do at the weekend and can spend it with family and friends.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Morning ladies

Haven't been in since the middle of the week but house is not looking too bad. Well other than the living room and kitchen. Went to bed early after our Chinese last night to find DH and DD who stayed up to watch spongebob ! hadn't tidied any of the empty plates or tubs away so both rooms stank. Have cleared all that and had breakfast so just deciding whether to shower and then clean bath, or clean bath then have one as DD bathed dog last night  Don't really want to go into town today as I know I will spend too much but I need a new comb for doogie as hers has disappeared.

Think I'll have a read back of Fred while I finish my cuppa first.

    See ya laters
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
  • Morning ladies!

This morning I will mainly be flying and transforming a rather utilitarian hall into a somewhat brighter reception venue for a small event tomorrow. Amazing what bright bunting & tableclothes can do - along with some shuffling of furniture. Hoping to get all organised and as much delivered as possible in an hour - can we do it? Clock starts at 10am.....

So next - we have to do the 3D jigsaw of getting it all into the car around the hired glasses before we leave at 9.30.

    Have a great day,

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.
  • Morning All. Well it is a nice feeling that some of thr house at least is looking good. I have avoided the temptation to o at it all as I will then be exhausted after one big effoert and never do that again for months. Little and often needs to be my new motto.

I have two case studies to write up for a course I am doing and want to get these finished by end of play on Monday - these are my 'frogs'. I have been putting them off and off but have mde a deal with myself to get them posted off for marking and then I can go and meet a friend of mine for lunch with no guilt!!

    Have a great Saturday all.
